Antisemitism Among the Three Great Monotheistic Faiths

I believe its possible for a person to have genuine affection for the Jewish people and still produce antisemitic expressions and not realize it. I know that sounds strange and maybe even impossible, but one has to view the core root of antisemitism to get an idea of what I’m talking about. Antisemitism goes much deeper than any racial or national issues. Its base is a spiritual one. Adolph Hitler’s hatred for the Jew was not a physical based ideology but rather a spiritual based ideology. Hitler himself is reported to having told his associate, Hermann Rauschning: “I know perfectly well that in the scientific sense there is no such thing as a race. As a politician I need a conception which enables the order which has hitherto existed on a historic basis to be abolished and an entirely new order enforced and given an intellectual basis. And for this purpose the conception of race serves me well.”
.
Race, Jewish blood, and National Socialism, was only avenues by which Hitler’s spiritual hatred could be expressed in the physical realm. When we understand the full spiritual concept of what a Jew is, and what the Jew represents, it is only then we can begin to see the full concept of what antisemitism actually is. Without using the Bible as a spiritual guide, antisemitism is just another form of racism.

Any form of expression that seeks to separate the Jew from the covenant by which the God of Israel has appointed them is in reality antisemitic! Therefore, any attempt to convert the Jew away from his covenant with God (regardless of the honesty and compassion one might have for the Jew while doing so) is still an act of antisemitism against the Jew and the God of Israel.
.
Think of what converting the Jew away form the covenant really is doing. It's converting them away from the very element that made them "Jews" to begin with! In a sense it is spiritually and physically "Gentilizing" them. More importantly, it not only dishonors the Jews themselves but the very covenant God made with them. Seeking Jewish conversion can be an willful or an inadvertently expression of denying God’s covenant with Israel. If Jewish conversion were able to run its full course the way missionaries envision it, the Jews as a people along with the covenant itself would be annihilated. My challenge to any Christian disagreeing with me on this, is to examine and ponder what the results would be if the entire Christian world were to abandoned their Christian heritage and be converted to Islam? The same results that would happen to the Christian world are the results that would happen to the Jewish world if they all converted to Christianity.
.
Islam seeks to destroy the Christian world by converting Christians to Islam and they are doing so at a rapid rate. Islam is the world’s fastest growing religion in the world. The Christian world is becoming well aware of Islam’s threat to Christianity. While the Christian leaders are disgusted with Islam’s goal towards Christianity they forget that the same conversion rule applies to the Christians who fervently seeks Jewish converts. Remember, the Muslims believe they are right in their religion just as much and even probably more so than most Christians believe they are right in their religion. It takes an awful strong faith in Allah to blow oneself into a million pieces in their devotion to him. It’s a strange thing that Islam goes all out to try and convert Christians and Jews, while Christians go all out to and try convert the Muslims and Jews, but the Jews being the tiny minority of the three great monotheistic faiths, don’t attempt to convert either one of them to Judaism. There is a spiritual reason behind this that I will get to.
.
The annihilation of the God of Israel, or the effect of making the God of Israel powerless, (basically making His word return to Him void (see Isaiah 55:11) is the ultimate goal of antisemitism. General God-haters and antisemites alike know that once they can find a way to annihilate the Jews in any form, (either by physical death, religious conversion, and assimilation) they will in effect have killed God (see Psalms 115: 2,3) because the God of Israel is known by His covenant that He has established with the Jews and the nation of Israel (see Jeremiah 31:36). So I would encourage the Gentile Christians of whom many really do have a compassion for Israel and the Jews, not to try and pull the Jews away for what God has already laid down as a requirement for them which is their Torah (see Deuteronomy 4:2). If nothing else, encourage them to be Torah minded and let God deal with Israel as He so chooses.
.
It was never the intention of the All-Mighty that His Jewish nation to become like the other nations (Deuteronomy 7:6 / 14:2). Christianity and Islam are Gentile faiths of those other nations (see Deuteronomy 6:14). Though they use the Jewish scriptures as the foundation to their faith, their faith is Gentile oriented and Gentile maintained. Paul's conversion to Christianity caused his name to be changed from a Hebrew name of Saul to a Greco-Roman name of Paul (Acts 13:9). The name "Paul" remains a popular name among Gentiles while the name "Saul" (Solomon / Shlomo) remains popular among the Jews. I love to ask Messianic (Jew-want-to-be) Christians why that is. Paul, being the main author of the New Testament, traveled all over the Gentile world taking his message to them (see Romans 15:16) while Islam rejects God's covenant with Israel via Isaac (see Psalms 105:9,10) in order to accept their Gentle version of the Abrahamic covenant through the Gentile Ishmael (see Sura 37: 101-113). Christianity spread to the Gentile West via Rome while Islam spread throughout the Gentile Middle East via Mecca. But between both of these two massive bodies of land lies a very small strip of land that connects and a particular people with a eternal covenant. As with the onslaught of conversion efforts, isn't it spiritually strange that the Jews historically have received great persecutions in the form of physical attacks from both of the Christian and Islam nations (about 54% combined) while at the same time seeking the total conversion of the tiny Jewish nation, but you never hear or read about the Jewish people attacking either of them on the basis of their religion nor seeking their conversion to their faith?
.
Here are some amazing facts:

  • The two great world faiths of Christianity and Islam that makes up more than half of the world’s population (54% combined) seeks the total conversion of the tiny Jewish nation (0.22% of the world’s population) to their religion and belief system. To really get a good mental picture of just how offset Judaism is in population compared to the top two major religions of the world (which just happen to be the only two rivals of Judaism) take a look at the graph at the top of this article and notice the big green and red areas representing Christianity and Islam world populations. Then compared those areas to the tiny (hard to see) thin blue line representing Jews in Judaism between the colored areas of Buddhism and the other minority religions.

  • Evangelicals spend approximately 250 million dollars every year on Jewish evangelism including missions to Israel for the sole purpose of converting the Jew, while the Jews spend about 250 millions dollars less then the evangelicals in Gentile proselytizing. How about that for one-sided spending figures? Muslims countries spend billions per year on weapons and political methods intended for the killing off the Jews who will not convert to Islam. Any Jew who converts to Islam can become worry free of any terrorist attacks, just as any Jew who converts to Christianity no longer has to put up with eager missionaries looking for that Jew-feather to put in their Christian hat.

  • It is possible for a Gentile to be righteous outside of Judaism, but in the eyes of both Christianity and Islam, a Jew cannot be righteous hanging onto Law of Moses while converting to Christianity or Islam. This fact has made Judaism the most tolerant of the three monotheistic religions towards those outside their faith. A good question to ponder: During the Crusades when the forces of Christian Europe were fighting the Islamic empire from which both sides included the killing of Jews, who during this time were the Jews striking up a war with?

  • Both Christianity and Islam have made their boasts throughout their history that they, and only they are the new chosen people and are the spiritual replacement of the physical seed of Israel while the nation of Israel bends over backwards to downplay their being chosen of God.
“God's Only 'Chosen Person' is Jesus Christ, and those in Him” - The Preterist Archive -
    web-site / Dennis Todd
“The people who are really chosen by God are the Muslims community which has gathered under God’s banner without regard to differences of races, nations, colors, and countries.”
    - Sayid Qutb, Milestones along the Road, p. 238
According to the ancient Talmudic traditions, Israel was the very last (far from the first choice) that God picked to be His chosen people. According to the tradition, it was only because Israel accepted the covenant at Mt. Sinai after all the other nations refused it was how Israel came to become God’s chosen people.

  • Islam and Christianity which together makes up more than half of the world’s population have their foundations based on Judaism. Muslims will not recognized the New Testament as being from God, nor will the Christians recognize the Koran being from God, yet both Christianity and Islam recognize the Torah being from God. This fact is even more amazing when one considers the Jews were not liked and appreciated in both Christendom and Islamic worlds, yet their Torah was.

  • Christianity and Islam are both based only upon religious creeds while Judaism is based on faith and a nation of people. If a Christian stops believing in Jesus he is no longer a Christian. If a Muslim stops believing in Muhammad he is no longer a Muslim. A Jew however, can stop believing in the Torah but he will still remain a Jew - an apostate Jew.

  • Looking at the three great monotheistic religions from the outside, it is impossible for Judaism to be wrong in foundation while the other two monotheistic religions are right in their foundation. This is because without the Torah the New Testament and the Koran has no foundation thereby voiding any claim as the true religion. Therefore, is possible for Judaism to be right in its foundation and the other two be wrong because the Torah is not dependent on either the New Testament or the Koran in establishing its foundation as a true religion. Likewise, If you were to ask a Muslim that if he found out that Islam’s foundation was indeed proven to be false, what religion would he perceive as the next obvious choice as the correct religion? He would more than likely choose either Christianity or Judaism as the correct true religion. If you then were to ask a Christian the exact same question about Christianity, he would pick Judaism as the obvious correct religion. But if you would asked an observant Jew the same exact question regarding Judaism, there is no religion outside of Paganism that he could point to as the next best, obvious choice. There is a spiritual reason for this that goes beyond the time-line as to when each religion began. At the End of Days, when all things then becomes obvious, the world comes seeking the Jews for spiritual guidance.
Thus saith the LORD of hosts; In those days it shall come to pass, that ten men shall take hold out of all languages of the nations, even shall take hold of the skirt of him that is a Jew, saying, We will go with you: for we have heard that God is with you. - Zechariah 8:23
To the evangelicals, conversion takes top priority over everything else concerning the Jews, even if it meant great hardships and even death for the Jews. The evangelicals would no doubt argue that it is through their Christian love that they labor to see the Nation of Israel converted to Christianity. However, this “top priority” and so-called Christian love actually undermines everything unique about the Jewish nation that sets Israel apart from the rest of the nations. It is the evangelicals’ goal to make the Jewish nation the same as all the other Christian nations on the earth through conversion. If the Christian world’s desire for the Jewish people’s conversion were made reality it would totally destroy the identity of the Nation of Israel as a people of Jews. I know there are going to be people who will not believe this statement because it paints their conversion desire for all Jews in a negative light, so I’ll pose these three questions along with the obvious answers:

  • Q. If all of Israel would have become Christianized in the first century would there be a modern Israel today?
    A. Christian teaching in all of the New Testament reserves no special physical place on earth for the Christian believer, not even the physical land of Israel. The teaching of Jewish Zionism is nowhere found in the New Testament, only the doctrines of “spiritual Jerusalem” and of the spiritual “Israel of God” are taught. If all the Jews converted to Christianity in the first century there would be no peoples of the earth to embrace the spiritual concept of living in the promised land God gave to the ancient Israelites, for there would be no spiritual significant reason to do so. See: Romans 2:28, Romans 9, Galatians 4:26, Galatians 6:15,16 , Revelations 21:2

  • Q. If all of Israel would have become Christianized in the first century would there be a people identifying themselves as descendants from Jacob (Israel) today?
    A. The New Testament teaches that true Jews are the ones who become Christians and that the physical seed of Jacob has been replaced by a spiritual seed of faith to the believer. Therefore, had all of Israel converted to Christianity in the first century there would be no peoples of the earth identified as the descendants of Jacob for there would be no spiritual significant reason to keep track or a remembrance of that physical seed. It is also note worthy that the apostle Paul (the main author of the New Testament) did not have any physical seed of his own and instructed others to follow him in a vow of abstinence if they were spiritually able to do so (I Corinthians 7:8). While this type of vow may not be harmful to a “spiritual seed” doctrine, it can only deplete the physical seed of Israel while directly avoiding the promise that the physical seed of Israel will as numerous as the stars heaven and as the sands of the sea. Therefore this type of revelation also undermines any promises concerning the land of Israel, being that this physical land, spiritually and eternally belongs to a very physical people.
See St. John 4:20-23, Galatians 4:25,26, Acts 15:14-17 (the temple in Jerusalem)

  • Q. If all of Israel would have become Christianized in the first century, would the Law of Moses (by which Jews have remained Jews) be observed by any people on the earth today?
    A. The New Testament teaches that the Law of Moses has been fulfilled and is no longer valid to the Christian believer. Paul’s letter to the Galatians clearly confirms this many times over. Therefore, had all of Israel converted to Christianity in the first century there would be no people remaining on the earth today recognizing themselves to be under the Law of Moses. This would also cause there to be no religion in the earth that is totally based on the Law of Moses - which is exactly how Jews are known as Jews today! Therefore, had all of Israel converted to Christianity in the first century there would be no people on the earth whose spiritual foundation is the Law of Moses, because there would be no spiritual significant reason to keep the Law of Moses. This would result in there being no Torah-believing Jews (therefore no Jews) on the earth - only complete Christian assimilation.
    See Acts 10:13-16 (symbolic) Romans 3:20, Romans 7:4-6, Romans 10:4, Galatians 2:16,21, Galatians 3:13, Galatians 5:2-3,6.

It is an absolute fact that the total conversion of today’s Jewish people (which again, is the aim of every evangelical missionary Christian) would wipe out the Jewish nation from the earth. There would be no more physical seed (a.k.a. chosen people) identified as physical Jews on the face of the earth. I know this sounds mean but it’s the truth in principle, that today's evangelicals are no different (other than not being violent) than Hamas or any other terrorist group that seeks to destroy God’s covenant with the Jews of which the Law of Moses is connected! They just simply use different techniques and methods from those who use terrorism tactics, but which this wasn't always the case. Crusade Christianity and Inquisition Christianity were as every bit evil in terrorizing to Jews as today's Islamic terrorists. Hamas tries to murder the Jews away from their covenant while evangelicals try to covert the Jews away from their covenant. One of their biggest techniques is trying to convince the Jew that the Law of Moses is no longer in effect. There is an onslaught by both the Arabs and the Christians (the basic whole of the Gentile world) to takeover Jewish Israel. The Arabs want to make Israel an assimilated Muslim nation like all the other Muslim nations under the name of Palestine, while the Christians wish to make Israel an assimilated Christians nation like all the other Christian nations, and it’s sad that the secular Israeli government is at fault for allowing both fronts to continue as well as to grow.

I can understand a caring Christian’s true desire for a spiritual revival among the Jewish nation with the belief that only through the Jewish conversion to Christianity can a such a revival occur. However, Christians, and especially the evangelical missionaries, must realize that is wasn’t through the conversion to Christianity that the nation of Israel has been preserved and still survives to this day after three thousand years of persecutions. On the contrary, the fact remains that it was the Jewish people’s dedication to the Torah and the Talmud that has kept the Jewish nation intact as a people and as a nation throughout their tough history. It was not through the conversion to Christianity that brought about the modern phenomenon of the in-gathering of Jews back to Israel during this last century. If the Jews hadn’t been Torah minded during the past two thousand years, there never would have been a physical Jewish people for God to gather back into Israel in the first place. Therefore the great spiritual phenomenon of Jews living once again in their ancient biblical homeland is directly based both spiritually and physically to the Law of Moses and not to any forms of Christianity or Jewish conversion into it. The ingathering of Jews back into their homeland is based on God’s promise through Israelite prophets who just so happened to believe in keeping the Torah of Moses at the time.

If God was wanting all the Jews to become Christians instead of remaining as Jews, He wouldn’t have allowed the Holocaust to happen. Why would He, when in the eyes of the Christian world, the Jews of Germany were supposedly turning their hearts towards Jesus in massive numbers? It is important to understand as well as it speaks volumes, that the two greatest times of mass Jewish conversion to Christianity (as well as mass assimilation) was just before the destruction of the second temple in Israel and just before the Holocaust in Germany! Isn’t that strange? Christian missionaries should realize that God has a special and unique way of doing things when it comes to the Jewish people. He always deals with Israel as a nation, not by a conversion here and a conversion there. It would be in the best interest for the Jews if the evangelicals would stop trying to convert the Jews and interfere with what God has planned for them according to His word that He has specifically spelled out by the Hebrew prophets.
.
But this shall be the covenant that I will cut with the house of Israel: After those days, says the LORD, I will put My law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and I will be their God, and they shall be My people. And they shall no more teach each man his neighbor and each man his brother, saying, Know the LORD; for they shall all know me, from the least of them to the greatest of them, says the LORD. For I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sins no more. - Jeremiah 31:33,34

How come Jews don't do missionary work and is there anyplace in the bible or rabbinical writings that states Jews aren't allowed to do missionary work?

"The relationship between antisemitism and anti-Zionism

Western antisemitism focuses on the Jewish state. It falsely claims not to be antisemitic because it distinguishes between the Jews who live in Western countries and those living in Israel. But it has a chilling effect on the Western Jews who feel they have to separate themselves from the Jews of Israel or else they will be the next to be attacked.

There are at least four types of antisemitism. The mildest form of antisemitism is indifference to what happens to Jews. Indifferent antisemites tell themselves they are not actively trying to harm Jews; it's just that they have no sympathy for them. They might have compassion for other groups, but as far as they are concerned, it's not in their interests to pay any price at all to help Jews. For example, suppose the Arabs threaten to raise the price of oil or vote against Western interests in the UN. Then for these antisemites, Western interests are better served by siding with the Arabs without regard to the consequences for the Jews of Israel. An antisemite of this sort expressed his feelings succinctly in a bumper sticker I saw in the 1970s, which said, “Burn Jews, not oil.”

The second form of antisemitism is Blood Libel antisemitism. The Blood Libel originated in the Middle Ages when antisemites claimed that Jews needed fresh blood from innocent Christian children to make Passover matzoh. It surfaced as late as the 19th Century in Czarist Russia. Blood Libel antisemites feel guilty that when Europe got rid of its Jews, the West inflicted their Jews on the innocent Arabs. Blood Libel antisemites think they are doing good because they only try to protect innocent Arabs from the evil Jews. They might even help Israel in some ways as they attack Israel in other ways.

Blood Libel antisemites want to believe that today, the Jews of Israel are unfairly torturing and killing innocent Palestinians. Blood Libel antisemitic media prejudicially paint the picture of IDF soldiers killing innocent Arab children. The Mohammed Al Dura story is an excellent example of that. Palestinian propagandists manipulate this form of antisemitism by feeding these reporters and editors the stories they want to hear."

The Facebook comment
Continues
"The third form of antisemitism is “wandering Jew” antisemitism. Wandering Jew antisemites believe God cursed the Jews to wander the world without returning to the land God promised them in the Bible. Extremely bitter antisemites of this sort attack the Jewish state directly from high-paying positions of power in the UN, EU, or NGOs. Contrary to the mission of the organizations they represent, they would rather see Israel bleed to death than have peace in the Middle East.

The fourth form of antisemitism is contemporary left-wing antisemitism, a secular repackaging of all the themes of Medieval Christian antisemitism. Left-wing antisemites accuse the Jews of embodying all the evils their ideology can imagine, such as capitalism, colonialism, racism, sexism, etc. The fact that all those accusations are untrue is just as irrelevant today as it was in the Middle Ages. Thank God modern Christianity has left Medieval antisemitism behind.

Many Palestinians are fed up with the PA's corruption and don't want to be continually at war with Israel. Antisemitic Westerners are not helping them by supporting the PA without demanding substantial reforms. And, by encouraging the Islamists to keep fighting the Jews, the West is keeping the jihad war going indefinitely.

The jihad war is going on worldwide. It's happening in Western countries as well as in the Middle East. Westerners would be well advised to help Israel as one of the ways they can help themselves."

"My letter to Dean of CUNY Law School:

Happy Juneteenth

Antisemitism is "the longest, deepest, widest, most universal form of ethnic hate and prejudice ever to exist in all of human history”. In short, Jew hatred is the longest hatred. I would modify that to it being the longest, most persistent evil because for nearly two millennia, Jew hatred, expressed in any form, has always resulted in the evil of the mass extermination of Jews. In the inquisition, in the crusades, in massacres in the Ukraine in the 1600’s, in the pogroms of Russia and the Ukraine, in the Holocaust, and more recently in Pittsburgh, the fate of the Jew from the evil of Jew hatred was always the same, extermination. Is it any wonder that the number of Jews is the world totals only about 15 million (nearly back to pre-war, pre-holocaust levels), less that 0.2% of the world’s population, when there should be about 500 million, by some estimates. The world has been very effective at killing Jews.

Jew hatred expressed in a speech, or in the press, or in social media is not benign. It results in the evil of violence and murder against Jews. History has proven that over and over. Fatima Mohammed's speech was not limited to an expression of hate, but it called for violence against Jews; it called for the elimination of jews. That is what you applauded, and, by doing so, supported the idea of killing Jews, of genocide. You supported the idea of another holocaust, of machine-gunning thousands of people a day into mass graves (33,000 in two days a Babi Yahr), of killing 1.2 million children – Emmett Till x 1.2 million, of gassing millions of people in death camps and then sending their bodies up in smoke and ash in crematoria. That is what your applause meant; that is what it supported. You should have dragged her off the stage instead of applauding. You are advocating and teaching your students to pervert the law for the sake of your definition of social justice. The Nazis did that. From Fatima’s words you appear to be doing a good job. You are modeling a hatred that has no problem with the genocide of Jews. Hypocritical is your insistence on teaching anti-racism. Perhaps a trip to the Holocaust Museum or Yad V’shem in Israel would make you rethink your applause. It would a be sobering experience.

It must be nice to have the kind of black privilege that insulates you from any actions against you. You should be fired for promoting Jew Hatred. You should have been fired weeks ago. I think that you would agree that if a white dean applauded a call for hatred and violence against black people or Muslims, you would be the first to express outrage and advocate for the Dean’s firing. The DEI office would be all over it, and the chancellor and Board would fire the Dean in a nanosecond. Today’s environment of double standards explains why you are still Dean. Nice to be a protected species.

Empires have come and gone. History is littered with them, and history books are the only evidence of their once upon a time existence. Jews, a 3500-year-old people, the people of the Old Testament, continue to exist. Despite all the persecutions, and oppressions, and exterminations, we continue to be a productive people and a people who contribute significantly to every country we live in. Know that God protects His people. We will continue to exist long after anti-Semites like you and Fatima are gone. You have thrown your lot in with evil, may God pay you in kind. We can hope that on this Juneteenth you will be emancipated from your Jew hatred"

"What Nexus gets wrong and IHRA gets right with anti-Semitism"
by
Lea Speyer on
March 23, 2021 this article says
"A new working definition of anti-Semitism was unveiled last week by the Nexus Task Force, a project of the Knight Program in Media and Religion at the University of South California’s Annenberg School of Communication and Journalism. The definition, drafted by a group of Jewish liberal scholars, is meant to challenge what some critics say is the narrow scope of the 2016 International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance definition, particularly as it relates to criticism of Israel.

While the Nexus and IHRA definitions do overlap on the important aspects of defining what are physical, criminal, psychological and other acts of Jew-hatred, the largest difference is the conclusion that “paying disproportionate attention to Israel and treating Israel differently than other countries is not prima facie proof of antisemitism.”

“There are numerous reasons for devoting special attention to Israel and treating Israel differently, e.g., some people care about Israel more; others may pay more attention because Israel has a special relationship with the United States and receives $4 billion in American aid,” the Nexus definition states.

To put it simply, holding Israel to a double standard is not in itself an act of anti-Semitism. This is where Nexus gets it wrong.

Before IHRA and before Nexus, the U.S. State Department’s Special Envoy to Monitor and Combat Antisemitism released in 2010 its own working definition of anti-Semitism, including acts relative to Israel. What was conceptualized in 2003 by Israeli politician and famed refusenik Natan Sharansky and now known as the “3 D’s”—demonizing, delegitimizing and holding Israel to a double standard—is defined as anti-Semitic.

Legitimate criticism of Israel or its policies are not inherently anti-Semitic. On this, we are agreed. However, holding Israel—and only Israel—to a higher moral, behavioral and political standard not required by any other nation in the world is plain wrong.

Why is it OK for the only Jewish country to be disproportionally singled out and vilified for its actions? How is it not anti-Semitic to tell Jews to act differently than any other peoples because the world is watching their every move?

There are unfortunately hundreds, if not thousands, of real-world examples of Israel being held to a double standard. The most egregious and notorious comes from the U.N. Human Rights Council. According to watchdog group UN Watch, since 2015 Israel has been the subject of 112 condemnatory resolutions, compared to Iran’s five, North Korea’s six and Russia’s 12.

Is the UNHRC disproportionally targeting Israel because it “cares more,” or because it is safeguarding the “special relationship” between the United States and Israel? I imagine the answer is a hard no. Nations of the world are seemingly being given the green light and a free pass by the Nexus definition to disparage and punish Israel if the Jews step out of line.

If history has taught us one thing, it’s that giving others the authority to tell Jews how to think and behave has never ended well. The Nexus definition sets a dangerous precedent and presents a risk humanity should not be willing to take."

"Why So Many People Still Don’t Understand Anti-Semitism" by
Yair Rosenberg on January 19,2022 this article says:
"Unlike many other bigotries, anti-Semitism is not merely a social prejudice; it is a conspiracy theory about how the world operates.

Most people do not realize that Jews make up just 2 percent of the U.S. population and 0.2 percent of the world’s population. This means simply finding them takes a lot of effort. But every year in Western countries, including America, Jews are the No. 1 target of anti-religious hate crimes. Anti-Semites are many things, but they aren’t lazy. They’re animated by one of the most durable and deadly conspiracy theories in human history.

This past Saturday in Texas, another one found his mark. According to the latest news reports, Malik Faisal Akram traversed an ocean to accomplish his task, flying from the United Kingdom to America in late December. On January 15, he took Colleyville’s Congregation Beth Israel hostage for more than 11 hours. When it was all over, Akram was dead and his captives were not. The hostages escaped after their rabbi engineered a distraction, drawing on security training he had received from the Anti-Defamation League and other communal organizations. Something else most people don’t realize is that many rabbis need and receive security training.

Speaking about Jews as symbols is always uncomfortable, and that’s especially the case when bullet holes are still fresh in the sanctuary. But the sad fact is, that’s why the Texas congregants were attacked in the first place: because Jews play a sinister symbolic role in the imagination of so many that bears no resemblance to their lived existence.

After Akram pulled a gun on the congregation, he demanded to speak to the rabbi of New York’s Central Synagogue, who he claimed could authorize the release of Aafia Siddiqui, a Pakistani woman serving an attempted murder sentence in a Fort Worth facility near Beth Israel.

Obviously, this is not how the prison system works. “This was somebody who literally thought that Jews control the world,” Beth Israel Rabbi Charlie Cytron-Walker told The Forward. “He thought he could come into a synagogue, and we could get on the phone with the ‘Chief Rabbi of America’ and he would get what he needed.”

the article continues
"I happen to know Angela Buchdahl, the rabbi of that New York synagogue, and I think she would make an excellent chief rabbi of America. But no such position exists. Jews are a famously fractious lot who can rarely agree on anything, let alone their religious leadership. We do not spend our days huddled in smoke-filled rooms plotting world domination while Jared Kushner plays dreidel in the back with Noam Chomsky and George Soros sneaks the last latke.

The notion that such a minuscule and unmanageable minority secretly controls the world is comical, which may be why so many responsible people still do not take the anti-Semitic conspiracy theory seriously, or even understand how it works. In the moments after the Texas crisis, the FBI made an official statement declaring that the assailant was “particularly focused on one issue, and it was not specifically related to the Jewish community.” Of course, the gunman did not travel thousands of miles to terrorize some Mormons. He sought out a synagogue and took it hostage over his grievances, believing that Jews alone could resolve them. That’s targeting Jews, and there’s a word for that.

The FBI later corrected its misstep, but the episode reflects the general ignorance about anti-Semitism even among people of goodwill. Unlike many other bigotries, anti-Semitism is not merely a social prejudice; it is a conspiracy theory about how the world operates. This addled outlook is what united the Texas gunman, a Muslim, with the 2018 shooter at Pittsburgh’s Tree of Life synagogue, a white supremacist who sought to stanch the flow of Muslims into America. It is a worldview shared by Louis Farrakhan, the Black hate preacher, and David Duke, the former KKK grand wizard. And it is a political orientation that has been expressed by the self-styled Christian conservative leader of Hungary, Viktor Orbán, and Ali Khamenei, the supreme leader of Iran’s Islamic theocracy."

& continues
"The fevered fantasy of Jewish domination is incredibly malleable, which makes it incredibly attractive. If Jews are responsible for every perceived problem, then people with entirely opposite ideals can adopt it. And thanks to centuries of material blaming the world’s ills on the world’s Jews, conspiracy theorists seeking a scapegoat for their sorrows inevitably discover that the invisible hand of their oppressor belongs to an invisible Jew.

At the same time, because this expression of anti-Jewish prejudice is so different from other forms of bigotry, many people don’t recognize it. As in Texas, law-enforcement officials overlook it. Social-media companies ignore it. Anti-racism activists—who understand racism as prejudice wielded by the powerful—cannot grasp it, because anti-Semitism constructs its Jewish targets as the privileged and powerful. And political partisans, more concerned with pinning the problem on their opponents, spend their time parsing the identity of anti-Semitic individuals, rather than countering the ideas that animate them.

In short, although many people say they are against anti-Semitism today, they don’t understand the nature of what they oppose. And that’s part of why anti-Semitism abides.

This ignorant status quo has proved deadly for Jews, and that alone should be enough for our society to take it seriously. But it has disastrous consequences for non-Jews as well. This is because people who embrace conspiracy theories to explain their problems lose the ability to rationally solve them. As Bard College’s Walter Russell Mead has put it:

People who think “the Jews” run the banks lose the ability to understand, much less to operate financial systems. People who think “the Jews” dominate business through hidden structures can’t build or long maintain a successful modern economy. People who think “the Jews” dominate politics lose their ability to interpret political events, to diagnose social evils and to organize effectively for positive change.

For an example, just look at what happened in Texas. An anti-Semitic gunman took a synagogue hostage in the false hope that its parishioners could somehow free a federal prisoner. That prisoner herself was sentenced to 86 years in jail after she tried to fire her Jewish lawyers at trial, demanded that Jews be excluded from the jury, and declared that her guilty verdict came “from Israel and not from America.” One hateful person after another was destroyed by their own delusions. And such debilitating delusions can reverberate outward."

& lastly says
"Anti-Semitism has real impact beyond just hate crimes,” the civil-rights activist Eric Ward once told me. “It distorts our understanding of how the actual world works. It isolates us. It alienates us from our communities, from our neighbors, and from participating in governance. It kills, but it also kills our society.”

Neither Mead nor Ward is Jewish. The former is a noted white historian and the son of a southern priest; the latter is a Black activist who fights white nationalism. Yet despite coming from different places, both have devoted much of their work to combatting anti-Jewish prejudice, and for the same reason: It threatens democracy itself.

“Anti-Semitism isn’t just bigotry toward the Jewish community,” Ward explains. “It is actually utilizing bigotry toward the Jewish community in order to deconstruct democratic practices, and it does so by framing democracy as a conspiracy rather than a tool of empowerment or a functional tool of governance.” In other words, the more people buy into anti-Semitism and its understanding of the world, the more they lose faith in democracy.

Numerous historical case studies attest to anti-Semitism undermining its adherents at a large scale, from the defeat of the Nazis, who spurned scientific advances simply because they were discovered by Jews, to European countries that hobbled themselves for centuries by expelling their Jewish populations.

“The rise of anti-Semitism is a sign of widespread social and cultural failure,” Mead writes. “It is a leading indicator of a loss of faith in liberal values and of a diminished capacity to understand the modern world and to thrive in it.”

Seen in this light, one attack on one synagogue is not just a hate-crime statistic. It is also a warning. The mindset of a madman in Texas might seem alien to us today. But if we do not find a way to confront the conspiratorial currents that threaten to overtake our society, we may find ourselves hostage to the very ideas that animated him."

How else to explain the rise in antisemitism in college campuses, in Iran's promise to eradicate the Jewish people, to a CUNY Law graduate who expresses the same sentiment, to progressives in Congress who call for an end to Israel and the Jewish people nearly 80 years after the targeted extermination of 6 million Jews. How does one eradicate such evil?"

Anti-Semitism that
"AntiSemitism is satanic. It is the devils war against the God of Jacob. Christ won the war at the cross, yet battles continue as we are well aware.

Until the Prince of Peace returns conflict will continue. Satan is a defeated foe, yet his final doom awaits him in the fullness of God’s time."

Quoted Jewish Believer in Jesus
Olivier Melnick as saying
“Antisemitism will only be fully dealt with when Jesus returns. But we must fight it; we must be vocal against it.” But do you agree with Mr. Melnick that
Anti-Semitism, Jew-Hatred
Hatred of Israel will NOT continue for All Eternity ,
That ultimately the Hatred Will End Completely, Not Just be Reduced"
A Christian replied
"Until Satan and his followers are cast into the lake of fire, sin and antiSemitism will be lurking in the background. We speak of when Jesus returns and He rules with a rod or iron to subdue sin.

The thousand year reign of Jesus will end with Satan being released from the bottomless pit to create chaos for a short time. After that God will make everything right because those who are His want it to be right. Then hatred will be eliminated for eternity.
Yes, Mr Melnick has the correct interpretation."
The original person replied
"Again I rejoice that ultimately Jew-Hatred, Anti-Semitism and Anti-Israel Hatred will someday End Completely, once and for All Forever. Never to Resurface ,However what about the Countless Past Injustices and Crimes Committed Against the Jewish people throughout History in America and Worldwide where No one was Arrested or Prosecuted for their Crimes, Justice was Not Served, will there be Justice for all the Innocent Jewish Victims, the Wrongs be Righted ? I hope and pray
That All of the Vile Jew-Haters & Anti-Semites in Human History, each and every individual that Committed horrible Crimes against Jews and got away with it, when those Jew-Haters and Anti-Semites ultimately pass away they Should Face God’s Wrath to the Uttermost, God’s Divine Judgment and Wrath to the Uttermost, God should make those Haters Experience the very same exact Mental and Physical Pain that they inflicted upon the Jewish People with Interest and Make those Haters Make Reparations and Restitution to their Victims in the Next Life
I’ve read that as of 2023 , 99 percent of Killers of Jews during the Holocaust were Never Arrested or Prosecuted for their crimes, they Never Faced Justice.
It would make God look weak and Soft on Sin if God didn’t punish those who committed crimes against Jews and their property.
It would make a complete mockery of God’s Very Name, God’s Holiness, Justice Wrath & Faithfulness of God to his Jewish people if those Jew-Haters & Anti-Semites were Not Punished. Today in America you hear about Vile Bigots, Jew-Haters and Anti-Semites, spewing Hate, Lies and Incitement against Jews and Israel, they Cowardly hide behind “Free Speech” and the
1st Amendment to spew their Bile, While they would Never have the guts to Publicly or even privately insult other Groups of people like that , because hate against other Groups of people would Never Ever be Tolerated or Defended as
“Free Speech” Such Sickening Hypocrisy and Double Standards, plus the Anti-Semite, Anti-Israel Bigots are Losers and Hypocrites, very immature, childish, pathetic, they only Support “Free Speech” for themselves, Not for those they disagree with, Plus their “Free Speech” Against Jews & Israel infringes upon the Rights of others,
Of course when these Anti-Jewish, Anti-Israel Bigots ultimately pass away, even if they Never did Anything Violent or illegal, myself and others feel God should Condemn those Haters to Hell & The Lake of Fire for All Eternity, that they shouldn’t be Able to Cry
“Free Speech” when they stand before God. Jewish and part-Jewish people have feelings also, they didn’t choose to be Jewish or part-Jewish

“Anti-Semitism” published in 2003 by

Robert Bunger Thieme Jr.
The description of this booklet on the website says
“Anti-Semitism is a masterstroke of treacherous evil. Endless Jewish persecutions verify Satan-inspired antagonism toward God’s elect people. History authenticates the devastating effect of such virulent bigotry.

The biblical portrayal of this heinous intolerance presents the divine perspective and solution and outlines the plan of God for the Jew throughout human history. In the unconditional covenants to Israel, God guarantees that the Jew will survive despite cruel treatment. Therefore, He condemns anti-Semitism as a contradiction to His sovereign will and purpose.

No one should ever be guilty of this insidious prejudice. Divine judgment and utter ruin are the ultimate destiny of individuals or nations that practice anti-Semitism—in the past, present, and future."

“One of the deadliest myths arising from misinterpretation of the New Testament scripture is that the Jews were the “ Christ Killers”. This is completely false and there is no justification that can be found in the New Testament to support this lie.
The writers of the gospels, who were Jews themselves, took special care to impress upon their readers the fact that the Jews were not responsible for the events that led up to the arrest, trial, and conviction of Jesus Christ. Two conclusions were made from Mark 11:18 and Luke 22:2 :
1- There was a crucifixion plot and Scripture states that the Chief Priest appointed by Herod , were complicit in these plans.
2- The plot to kill Jesus was carried out by the High Priest Caiaphas, who in no way represented the Jewish people. He was a political appointment of Herod Antipas, who was himself directly appointed by Rome, not the Jewish people.
The Jewish people hated Herod and Caiaphas because they were pawns in the hands of the pagan Romans. Herod appointed Caiaphas to do the will of Rome, not the will of the Jewish people.
But what about the crowd who screamed “ His blood be on us and our children.” ( Matt 27:25)? Some have used this as scriptural proof that all the Jewish people on earth are forever guilty of the blood of Jesus and deserve eternal punishment from the Almighty. False!
“ But the Chief Priest and the elders persuaded the crowd to ask for Barabbas and to have Jesus executed.” – Matthew 27:20
The truth is that Caiaphas is the one who “ gathered and controlled the crowd.” Remember this was an orchestrated plot. The Jewish people were innocent but were blamed for it all which led up to the atrocities of the false teachers of the replacement theology. I find a little irony in it all. Jesus Christ died an innocent man, so did millions of innocent Jews in the name of Jesus Christ because of a plot of evil , wicked people. We as Christians should ask for forgiveness from our Jewish brothers and sisters for the sins of our forefathers against their forefathers. Remember: There would be no Christianity if there were no Judaism. Once again the enemy is defeated, his plans conquered and in the end, Jews and Christians will unite again to create a perfect Israel. Remember:
The Jewish people are Gods chosen people through covenant and our God doesn’t break covenants. If He did than He could easily break covenant with us Christians as well. He doesn’t break his covenants, period. He still loves the Jewish people and they are still the Apple of His eye. We are to love them the same!”

"A Facebook friend just posted this. I didn’t write it. Credit goes to ----- After reading it, I felt I had to repost it. It’s long, but worth reading:

I need to share this.
I did not write it...I just read this and felt an immediate connection.
It is in the hopes of opening up the heart and mind of anyone who might need to see a different perspective this week.
Here goes:

Thank you to -------- for posting this very well written and truly informative post, which sheds truthful light on the past history of the Middle East. Yes it’s long, but definitely worth the read.

I'm fed up.

I don't want to write this, but I'm fed up.

I'm fed up, and I've seen it all before.

Two weeks ago I watched a programme on the BBC about Easter in Israel's holy sites. The presenter, a well-known and well-intentioned British actress, saw the security barrier which separates Israel and the West Bank and remarked about how it was "wrong".

Rewind 20 years, it was 2001, I stood in Jerusalem deciding on what to grab for dinner with friends. Our indecision meant we didn't get far. Two minutes later, a bomb exploded 50 metres away in the pizza restaurant we were considering going to, killing over 20 innocent teenagers and injuring hundreds. That suicide bomber was from Hamas. We jumped in a cab and left the area, people running and sirens blaring. Moments later, a second bomb exploded... exactly where I'd been standing during the first.

The security barrier, the one which was "wrong", was built in the years after my own near-death experience at the hands of Hamas. It essentially put an end to suicide bombings in Israel, on buses, in restaurants and during religious festivals. Sometimes things which may look "wrong" to our naive western eyes also serve to preserve innocent lives. Sometimes things that seem "wrong" prevent other things that are way "more wrong". Imperfect, perhaps. Necessary, definitely. Nothing is simple.

Israel is complicated. The action of this week is simply the very top surface of a collection of layers of history, of sub-plots, of hurt. People study the region for years and still only scratch the surface.

I'm fed up of 'woke' celebrities demonising Israel and turning a blind eye to the thousands of rockets being launched by Hamas at Israeli civilians. They are unwittingly giving their celebrity endorsement to terror. Demonising only one side of a conflict is equal to making excuses for the behaviour of the other side. People from Love Island are unknowingly becoming Marketing Execs for Hamas in Europe. Read that again."

The comment continues
"I'm fed up of uneducated influencers suddenly acting like experts of the Middle East. Do they proclaim to be experts on South Ossetia, Kashmir or Northern Cyprus? No. Did they fill their Instagram stories with objections to Assad gassing his own people in Syria or Uigur Muslims being put into actual concentration camps in China? No. Have they ever heard of the Gaza Disengagement, Mohammed al-Dura, the Jenin 'Massacre', the Camp David Accords, the Hamas Charter or any other piece of context needed to really understand this situation? Of course not. Yet they're happy to #PrayForPalestine whilst ignoring the thousands of rockets being fired by Hamas at Israeli citizens, families rushing their children into bomb shelters. It seems that every country has a right to defend itself from acts of war... apart from the one Jewish one.

Perhaps Ricky Gervais said it best to a room full of actors at the Golden Globes... "Don’t use this as a platform to make a political speech. You’re in no position to lecture the public about anything. You know nothing about the real world."

I'm fed up of the language of the British media, which structures its headlines not according to chronology, but according to narrative. It doesn't matter if Hamas kill Israelis and Israel reacts by targeting Hamas leaders, the headline will be "Israel kills Palestinians... who killed Israeli civilians earlier in the day, it is claimed."

I'm fed up that whilst a well-known rapper went on a 48 hour vile anti-Jewish rant last year, so few people stood up to be counted. So few non-Jews said anything. At the time I wrote "Israel may not be perfect, but it exists precisely because people like you say nothing when Jews are attacked." It turns out that those same people laying low have now crawled out of the woodwork to denounce the only Jewish country on earth defending itself against rocket fire. So you won't defend Jews but they're not allowed to defend themselves either?! OK. Some people claim that you scratch the surface of an Israel-hater, and you'll find a Jew-hater.

I'm fed up of the world ignoring Hamas as though they were nothing more than a bad smell, whilst demonising Israel at every opportunity. If you are an influencer and have posted more against Israel than against Hamas, you are literally doing the dirty work of a terrorist organisation. Oh and by the way, if you wear that bikini or hold hands with your same-sex partner in Gaza, you'll be killed and paraded through the streets as blood-thirsty men fire guns in the air and shout about how great god is. Wear the bikini or be openly gay in Tel Aviv, you'll fit right in as long as you have tattoos and a cute dog as well."

"I'm fed up of those who accuse Israel of 'genocide', meaning 'the deliberate killing of a large number of people from a particular nation or ethnic group with the aim of destroying that nation or group.' There are MORE Palestinians now than there were 50 years ago. That does not happen during a genocide. Anybody who makes this claim is beyond sense and reason, fuelled by hate. It's preposterous and pathetic, especially as Hamas makes no secret of its will to commit genocide on Jews. You're actually gaslighting. Stop it.

I'm fed up of the word 'disproportionate' which makes no sense at all to anyone with a functioning brain cell, yet is still trotted out as the laziest way to demonise Israel. "Israel is acting in a disproportionate way", they say. "Israel should be able to defend itself from terror but it must not be disproportionate", they tell us. If you held a knife and told me you were going to murder my family, then tried to do it, I would use the gun in my pocket to stop you. Is that disproportionate? If 8 Israelis are killed by Hamas, does that make it OK for Israel to kill 8 Palestinians? Of course not. Hamas fired over 2000 rockets indiscriminately at Israel this week, each one trying to kill civilians. If Israel fired 2000 rockets into Gaza, each one trying to kill civilians, is that OK as it's 'proportionate'? Of course not.

If 100 Palestinians and 30 Israelis were killed, would you feel better if another 70 Israelis were killed? Not enough dead Jews, is that the real problem for you? TV anchorman Trevor Noah literally used that argument this week, comparing death figures. If more Jews were dead, he wouldn't have a problem. He would see things as "proportionate". Well, Trevor, I'm really sorry there aren't more dead Jews. No, Trevor, it's nothing like where you grew up. Also, Trevor, when one side invests all their money in bomb shelters, and the other side invest all their money in rockets... the one with the bomb shelters will have fewer casualties. They shouldn't need to apologise for that, and they shouldn't need to sacrifice their own lives so that you can sit on TV and say it's more "fair" as now the Jew-death-toll is high enough for you. I used to be a fan, but now I'm fed up with you. So apparently the only thing we need to understand what is right or wrong in the context of an age-old conflict is an abacus... come on Trevor, I thought you were intelligent?!

Israel is currently engaged in the most precise counter-terrorism operation in history, calling ahead to warn Gazans of their next target, preparing to go in on foot (knowing that young Israelis will get killed) in order to minimise civilian casualties on the Palestinian side. I'm fed up of anyone using that word as a way to criticise Israel. It's lazy and meaningless.

Israel is not perfect but offers equal rights to all citizens and has Arab citizens in every part of society, from Supreme Court Judges to Members of Parliament to University Professors, whilst the Hamas Charter calls for every Jew to be killed, anywhere in the world. Including me. Are you anti-racist? Did you take a knee? IF YOU ARE ANTI-RACIST THEN YOU SHOULD STAND AGAINST HAMAS.

I'm fed up of people who are liberal in every other sense, misplacing their concern in this situation. Israel has the only Pride Weekend anywhere in the Middle East, an incredible celebration of love held in Tel Aviv every year and enjoyed by thousands of people from all around the world. Meanwhile, Hamas throw gay people off rooftops. IF YOU ARE AGAINST HOMOPHOBIA, YOU SHOULD STAND AGAINST HAMAS."

"Israel has more elections than any other Middle Eastern country, allowing all civilians the right to vote, from Jewish men to Muslim women. Meanwhile, Hamas will never hold an election, and in the West Bank, Mahmoud Abbas is in the 16th year of his 4 year term, and just cancelled the forthcoming elections. IF YOU BELIEVE IN DEMOCRACY, YOU SHOULD STAND AGAINST HAMAS.

By the way, standing against Hamas does not make you 'anti-Palestinian'. I would argue that if you stand against Hamas, it means you care about the welfare of Palestinian people and want them to prosper.

Sky News yesterday interviewed the head of a hospital in Ashkelon (Israel), asking how they've managed to continue their work under constant rocket fire from Hamas in Gaza. She explained that they'd built a 300 bed hospital underground in recent years, protecting them from rocket fire and allowing them to continue saving lives without disruption. Meanwhile, in Gaza, Hamas store rockets under Al-Shifa Hospital as they know it would be disastrous PR for Israel if they target that ammunition stockpile. Israel builds a hospital under their hospital, Hamas build an ammunition store under theirs. Doesn't that speak volumes?!

If you've posted about Gaza, praying for Palestine, demonising Israel... then I assume you know all about the Gaza Disengagement of 2005? In case I'm wrong, here you go: There used to be 21 Israeli towns in Gaza. In 2005, in the absence of meaningful negotiations, Israel decided to disband these 21 towns, and drag their own people away from them, removing all Jews and Israelis from Gaza. It wasn't part of a deal, it was done in the hope that Palestinians will take the thriving industry and agriculture the Israelis had built, and use it to build better lives for themselves. It was hoped that this act would be seen as a step towards peace, that Israel is willing to give up land for meaningful peace. Israel handed over the keys and walked away. I was in Jerusalem at the time, there were massive demonstrations against this move. Jews forcing Jews from their own homes for the sake of a bigger picture and possible peace. What happened afterwards? Hamas spent the last 16 years turning Gaza into a terrorist outpost, making the entire place a rocket launchpad from which to attack Israel. You see, Hamas would rather bring Israel down than improve Palestinian lives. Israel cares more about Palestinian lives than Hamas has ever done. Yes, that statement sounds crazy, but it's true. Hamas preach 'martyrdom'... that the greatest honour is to lose your life whilst killing Jews. It's sick, twisted, and beyond comprehension for most well-intentioned people.

I was 'pro' the disengagement at the time. 16 years of festering extremism. 16 years of stockpiling rockets with International Aid, also known as your tax money. 16 years of investing in terror tunnels to murder Israelis as opposed to schools to educate Palestinians. It was a golden opportunity for prosperity and progress, shot up in flames by Hamas. If you were Israel, would you give up any more land in the knowledge that it's likely to be turned into a launchpad by Hamas? Hindsight is a great thing.

If you want an extreme fundamentalist Islamic terror state on the shores of the Mediterranean, keep sharing those memes which ignore Hamas as a problem and vow to 'Free Palestine'. Again, celebs, liberals, well-intentioned Instagrammers... YOU ARE UNWITTINGLY DOING ONLINE MARKETING FOR HOMOPHOBIC AND RACIST MURDERERS."

"At Jewish events like Bar Mitzvahs in the UK, everyone sings 'Salaam' at the end, an Arabic word not a Hebrew one. A word which means peace. Jews long for peace. Meanwhile, Hamas take 4-year-old recruits and make them shout 'Death To Jews'. Meanwhile, the Palestinian Authority (the 'moderate' ones) have a fund called The Martyrs Fund. They pay a monthly salary to the family of anyone who murders Jews and loses their life in the process. Pay to Slay. It's beyond sickening. When a Jewish baby is born in Israel, they immediately have a price on their head. Again, doesn't that speak volumes?! Or don't you want to hear?!

I'm fed up. Everyday Palestinians are fed up. Everyday Israelis are fed up. This is not a conflict between 'Palestine and Israel', it's a conflict between decent people (on both sides) and the most perverse extremists on earth. Change your hashtags for #ShalomSalaamPeace, which acknowledges hurt on both sides, it acknowledges that the ultimate goal for all decent people is peace... something Hamas would never want to see.

Years ago, as an idealistic young left-wing student of the Middle East, an elderly family member told me "If the Arabs put their weapons down tomorrow, there would be no war. If Israel put their weapons down tomorrow, there would be no Israel." I laughed at the time at such a sweeping and simplistic statement, but it's much closer to the truth than I ever realised. There's a simple equation here.... Hamas want all Jews dead, and the Jews refuse to let that happen. How dare they."

Anonymous said...

& lastly says
"I'm fed up of people taking news reports on face value, do you really believe the most complicated region on earth is that simple?! Nobody wants to see young Israeli soldiers stopping and searching Palestinian ambulances, it's difficult to watch and to most decent people around the world it's a disgrace. But ever since Hamas first used the official Red Crescent ambulances to smuggle suicide bombers and explosives in 2002 (starting with a woman suicide bomber, Wafa Idris, who worked as a medical secretary for the Palestinian Red Crescent), being accomplices in the murder of innocent Israelis... what choice does Israel have?! Things are not simple. Any other country would do the same. It's very easy to criticise from your armchair. One of my favourite phrases is "Everyone is fighting a battle you know nothing about, be kind." Perhaps once in a while this can apply to your perception of Israel, a country that faces perverse threats to its very existence every single day. Challenges you know nothing about, living in NYC or London.

Maybe tonight, when you pray for Palestine, perhaps keep the millions of Israeli families in your prayers too. The normal people who are running into bomb shelters with their kids, praying that it will all be over soon. There is suffering on BOTH sides. Real people with real dreams on BOTH sides.

If you're brave enough to share this, you may have friends engaging in 'whataboutery', like a script of someone who cannot bring themselves to be anything other than a hater of Israel. "What about the settlements? What about the checkpoints?" they'll ask, as though they've not read a word of what's actually been written. Sure, they are issues, in a region full of issues. Many of these issues deserve their own book, but they're not THE issue. Hamas want Israel gone and Jews dead. The President of Iran, the biggest sponsor of terrorism on earth, literally said the words "Israel should be wiped off the map" whilst sending massive shipments of rockets to Gaza to try to make this aim a reality. I have seen confiscated Iranian ammunition first-hand.

I'm fed up.

I'm genuinely fed up. This was written in 20 minutes straight from the depths of my frustrations. I don't expect many people to read everything I've written, but if it makes ONE person think twice the next time their favourite celebrity demonises Israel, it will have been worthwhile."

For the word translated "a taunt" is the Hebrew SHENINAH, and there is reason to believe that the vulgar slang "sheeny" is a corruption of the Hebrew word for "taunt" as applied to the Jew. Every time a joke is made against the Jew, prophecy is being fulfilled as the Jew is made "a reproach and a proverb, a taunt and a curse, in all places" What is your opinion ?

"Unlocking the Ancient Book of Zohar to Understand Today’s Anti-Semitism

Certain things do not vanish over time. They just change their shape, motion and means to penetrate people’s minds. Prejudice against Jews is one of those cases. With the surge in new means of communication, prejudice has also adopted new ways to spread. But actual answers to the eternal dilemma of how to eradicate anti-Semitism will be found by looking back to ancient scriptures.

The light of The Zohar is like a gate to a truer reality that is currently hidden from our view. Let’s look at anti-Semitism afresh in this new light that The Zohar sheds.

If 200 years ago, you would have arrived at some forsaken Siberian village, and declared that you were Jewish, the locals would have reacted in astonishment, “We do not believe you!” And if you were to ask why, they would have answered, “It’s because you have no horns on your head.” As primitive as that sounds, blood libels against Jews and grotesque images of greedy merchants with hooked noses are still prevalent in social media and cultural manifestations in American and European societies to this day.

Furthermore, belief in the myth that Jews killed Jesus and the misconception of Jewish double-loyalty continues with disturbing frequency. Anti-Semitism stands as ugly and forceful as ever. It has always existed, and the question is only to what extent it floats to the surface or remains submerged.

It should be declared straightaway: the struggle against anti-Semitic stereotypes will be fruitless. The hatred toward the Jewish people will only strengthen because it has spiritual roots.

The wisdom of Kabbalah explains that the source of this phenomenon exists within the structure of the spiritual world itself, which is divided into what Kabbalah terms “Rosh” (“head”) and “Guf” (“body”), i.e., “Israel” and the” nations of the world.” This allegorical thought is also sometimes expressed as the “heart” and the “bodily organs” that dangle and manifest themselves in our material world.

According to the seminal ancient book in Kabbalah, The Book of Zohar, which explains the secrets of the Torah: “Israel is the heart of the whole world, just as the organs of the body could not exist in the world even for a moment without the heart, so all the nations cannot exist in the world without Israel.”

Anonymous said...

The comment continues
"Just as the role of the heart in the human body is to provide the power to pump blood to all the organs, so the role of Israel is to provide humanity with the power to connect, to supply spiritual abundance to the nations of the world. In other words, Israel is to be “light unto the nations.”

The people of Israel and the nations of the world are not merely groupings of people on the face of the earth. The wisdom of Kabbalah explains that the terms refer to the two forces that act within each and every person, forces that are called “Israel” and “the nations of the world.”

The desires within us that are sensitive to the force of connection among people are called “Israel,” and the opposite desires we possess that demand to receive and enjoy the abundance that flows from such connection without consideration of others are called “nations of the world.” Both forces reside and interact within a person and within humanity as a whole. When one force rises, the other falls, and vice versa. Thus, the flames of hatred toward the Jewish people can be lowered, or alternatively, strengthened according to the balance between these desires.

How can we reinforce the “Israel” within us over the “nations of the world”? How can we increase our sensitivity toward connection over our other desires for self-indulgence at the expense of others?

We can achieve it through the study of Kabbalah—the method of connection—and particularly, The Book of Zohar. The Zohar has a great positive influence on us even if we are unable to grasp its full dimensions and benefit. Our sages elucidated the process as follows:

“To explain how The Zohar purifies the soul even when the reader doesn’t understand what he says, we have the example of he who enters a perfume store, even if he doesn’t buy any perfume, when he leaves the store, he has the smell attached to him.” (Rabbi Moshe Chaim Ephraim of Sadilkov)

The light of The Zohar is like a gate to the true reality that at present is hidden from our senses. It has tremendous power, but for us to be able to use its force of revelation efficiently, we need to read the stories narrated in The Zohar as a practical guide to discover a deeper reality through unity beyond the boundaries of the material world.

How does this process work?

When we aspire for unity, we awaken the force of connection among us, and sharpen our sensitivity to positive relations between us based on rapport, elevating “Israel” within us and bestowing abundance to the world. In such a state, no one in the world would deal anymore with anti-Semitic depictions or prejudice against Jews, but instead with the warm and considerate heart that should depict the Jewish people and its great contribution to the world’s betterment.

"Today is the 85th anniversary of Kristallnacht, the night of broken glass, which marked the beginning of the Holocaust. Throughout Germany, hundreds of synagogues were burned to the ground, Jewish businesses were destroyed, and Jews were beaten, killed and arrested and sent to concentration camps. Kristallnacht was the beginning of a world that lost its humanity and fell into a moral abyss. On October 7th, Hamas attacked Israel killing 1400 innocent people, raping women, burning and beheading babies, butchering families and taking 240 hostages. The massacre received broad support from students, faculty and executives on college campuses, and from BLM, LGBTQ and other "social Justice" organizations. It appears that the world has learned nothing in 85 years. It is once again falling into a moral abyss. "Never Again" remains Again and Again."

"One should not separate oneself from the community is a concept in Jewish Law. The Organization “Not in My Name” is doing just that. Israel is fighting an existential war that this organization wants Israel to end because “innocent” Palestinians are dying as a consequence of this war. Israel is fighting this war on behalf of all Jews in Israel and in the diaspora. They are fighting it in my name, in the name of my family, and in the name of my extended family, the Jewish People. “Not in My Name” is siding with our enemy whose goal is to exterminate all Jews. They would not have the luxury of protesting if they had been in Kibbutz Beeri on the morning of October 7th. So, yes, Israel is not fighting in your name, because you have sadly separated yourself from support of the Jewish community that was brutally attacked by terrorists. You have separated from the 1400 innocent Jews that were brutally murdered, raped, burned and beheaded. Your people! Your fellow Jews! Understand – Hamas is getting the furious retribution it deserves. Know that without Israel’s fight against Hamas, without Israel’s total elimination of Hamas, you will be next. And you know why? Because, when they look at you, all Hamas will see in front of them is a Jew. And then - slit."

“Suspicious Minds” has a sad tone to it. From Wikipedia it says about this song
“The song is about a mistrusting and dysfunctional relationship, and the need of the characters to overcome their issues in order to maintain it.”

"How to Be Anti-Semitic and Get Away With It"
Too many communities have developed ways to excuse or otherwise ignore prejudice.
By Yair Rosenberg , a
Collage of Elon Musk, Tucker Carlson, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, and Ali Khamenei is shown

DECEMBER 5, 2023 the article says

"Out of 8 billion people on the planet, there are only 16 million Jews—but far, far more anti-Semites. I sometimes joke that if I had fewer scruples, I wouldn’t report on anti-Jewish prejudice; I’d contract myself out to the more numerous and better-resourced bigots, and help them get away with it. Because in more than a decade covering anti-Semitism, I have become a reluctant expert in all the ways that anti-Jewish activists obfuscate their hate.

People must learn to recognize and reject these tactics, because too many communities have developed ways to excuse or otherwise ignore anti-Semitism. Today, such prejudice is growing in high and low places because powerful people around the world are running the same playbook to launder their hate into the public sphere.

Here’s how they do it:

1. They become too big to fail. Over the past six months, Elon Musk has publicly affirmed the deadliest anti-Semitic conspiracy theory in recent American history, claimed that Jews and Jewish organizations cause anti-Semitism, and echoed extremist conspiracy theories about the Jewish financier George Soros. As a result, the billionaire has lost a few advertisers on his social-media platform, and even got rapped by the White House. But as The New York Times reported, even as the U.S. government criticized Musk, it continued to buy things from him.

In fact, in recent months, Musk has raked in Pentagon cash, including more than $1 billion in exchange for launching spy satellites and other intelligence assets into orbit through his lucrative space-exploration venture, SpaceX. In September, days after Musk attacked the Anti-Defamation League and suggested that Jews cause anti-Semitism, he met with a bipartisan group of senators to discuss artificial intelligence. The magnate subsequently signed a deal worth up to $70 million to provide the U.S. government with a secure satellite communications system. “Rarely has the U.S. government so depended on the technology provided by a single technologist,” the Times wrote. Meanwhile, diverse actors ranging from the ADL to Representative Ilhan Omar keep advertising on Musk’s social-media site, his rich friends continue to defend him, and, last week, he was featured at a Times event.

Adam Serwer: Don’t equate anti-Zionism with anti-Semitism

Musk has similarly been wooed by Benjamin Netanyahu and the Israeli government, who—like Ukraine’s leadership—want to stay on the entrepreneur’s good side so that he doesn’t use technology like his Starlink satellite internet to harm their war efforts. Precisely because Musk plays a leading role in so many industries that are essential to humanity’s future—electric vehicles, artificial intelligence, space technology—no country can quit him, not even one as powerful as the United States or as Jewish as Israel. Likewise, no matter how many dinners Donald Trump has with anti-Semites such as Ye (formerly Kanye West) and Holocaust deniers such as Nick Fuentes, he will not be penalized for it by Republicans, because he is too essential to their party to be discarded."

Anonymous said...

The article continues
"This characteristic is what separates the big-league bigots who get away with it from those who don’t. Ye’s mistake was that he invested his talents in producing music and sneakers rather than something more indispensable to human flourishing, such as precision-guided ballistic missiles.

2. They don’t say the quiet part out loud. Those who want to fulminate about the Jews but lack the singular clout of Elon Musk still have plenty of options. They just need to be slightly more subtle about their prejudice. Take Tucker Carlson, once the most-watched man on cable news, who used his show to popularize a sanitized version of the same “Great Replacement” theory that Musk recently endorsed, which posits that Jewish elites are plotting to supplant the white race through the mass immigration of brown people. This white-supremacist fantasy motivated the 2018 massacre of worshippers at Pittsburgh’s Tree of Life synagogue, among other recent attacks. How did Carlson get such an unhinged idea on television? He repeated the anti-Semitic conspiracy theory—“They’re trying to change the population of the United States, and they hate it when you say that because it’s true, but that’s exactly what they’re doing”—but left out the word Jews and let the audience fill in the blank.

This time-honored technique provides even the most pointed prejudice with plausible deniability. In particular, whenever you see politicians or celebrities darkly ruminating about an amorphous “they” covertly controlling events, chances are good that you are seeing this strategy in action. Consider Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, who has led Turkey, a member of NATO, since 2003. In 2014, he began darkly referring to a “mastermind” behind the country’s ills:"

Anonymous said...

& continues
"Don’t be misled. Don’t think that these operations are against my persona, our government, our party. Friends, these operations are rather directed against Turkey itself—its unity, its peace, its economy, its independence. And as I have said before, behind all these steps there is a mastermind. People ask me, “Who is this mastermind?” Well, you have to figure that out. And actually, you know what it is.

Erdoğan was not talking about the Amish. His allies subsequently produced a movie titled The Mastermind, which aired on pro-government TV stations and helpfully opened with an image of a Star of David. “At every stage,” the Turkish commentator Mustafa Akyol wrote at the time, “the film reminds us how the Judaic ‘mastermind’ has oppressed humanity for thousands of years.” As Erdoğan has consolidated his essentially unchecked power, he has become more forthright in his anti-Semitism, and faced no international consequences.

Tom Nichols: The juvenile viciousness of campus anti-Semitism

3. They replace Jew with Zionist. In 1934, Representative Louis McFadden of Pennsylvania took to the floor of Congress to complain about Jewish control of the American financial system. “Is it not true,” he bemoaned, “that, in the United States today, the gentiles have the slips of paper while the Jews have the gold?” Today, this sort of rhetoric is frowned upon in polite society, but aspiring anti-Semites have a work-around: substituting each instance of Jews with Zionists or Israelis. Then: The Jews control the world. Now: The Zionists control the world.

With this simple switch, prejudice magically becomes mere criticism of Israel. Social-media companies won’t moderate it, and many activists will defend it. People can even make their anti-Semitic argument live on CNN, as Pakistan’s foreign minister did in 2021, when he claimed that Israel controls the media. In this manner, an ancient conspiracy theory is updated to appeal to partisans in the 21st century, many of whom will insist that they don’t have an anti-Semitic bone in their body. Of course, Zionism warrants critique like any other political ideology, but conspiracism is not criticism. This is what Martin Luther King Jr. was referring to when he said, “When people criticize Zionists, they mean Jews. You’re talking anti-Semitism.”

Anonymous said...

& continues
"One person who has mastered this maneuver is the supreme leader of Iran, Ali Khamenei, the man responsible for the most anti-Jewish violence in the world today. In 2021, he posted on social media: “The Zionists have always been a plague, even before establishing the fraudulent Zionist regime. Even then, Zionist capitalists were a plague for the whole world. Now they’re a plague especially for the world of Islam.”

In case the references to rapacious capitalists and comparisons of people to disease didn’t give it away, Khamenei was also not talking about the Amish. He was taking garden-variety anti-Semitism, replacing the word Jews with Zionists, and relying on his audience being too dense or partisan to care. Similarly, when the Republican politician Marjorie Taylor Greene of Georgia posted a video on her Facebook page declaring that “Zionist supremacists” were “breeding us out of existence in our own homelands,” she was drawing from the same poisoned well. Coded language has always served to smuggle bigotry into the public discourse, and anti-Semitism is no exception."

& lastly says
4. They say they were just “supporting Palestine.” Earlier this month, the actor Susan Sarandon was dropped by her talent agency. It was a mostly symbolic gesture, because the celebrated performer continues to get work and others will be happy to represent her. But almost immediately, viral posts on social media viewed more than 50 million times claimed that she had been punished for her pro-Palestinian advocacy. This popular narrative had only one small flaw: It was false.

Daniel Schulman: America’s most dangerous anti-Jewish propagandist

As Deadline reported, the words that got Sarandon in trouble were not about Palestinians or Israelis. At a rally in New York, home to the largest Jewish population outside Israel, the actor referred to rising anti-Semitism in America and declared, “There are a lot of people that are afraid, afraid of being Jewish at this time, and are getting a taste of what it feels like to be a Muslim in this country.” In reality, since the FBI began tracking hate crimes, Jews have been subjected to more anti-religious attacks than all other groups combined, despite constituting just 2 percent of the American population. This includes the massacre at Pittsburgh’s Tree of Life synagogue, multiple synagogue shootings in California, and a Texas congregation being taken hostage in 2022. Erasing anti-Semitism and attempting to pit American Jews and Muslims against each other in some sort of debased oppression Olympics is not “support for Palestine.” It’s ignorance at best and malice at worst, which is why Deadline accurately headlined its story “UTA Drops Susan Sarandon as Client Following Recent Antisemitic Remarks She Made at a Rally in New York.”

On social media, none of this mattered. Sarandon was misleadingly cast as a martyr for the Palestinian cause and celebrated by a diverse array of notables, including the journalist Glenn Greenwald, the presidential candidate Cornel West, several prominent progressive activists, and even the head of a human-rights group. None of these people linked to or acknowledged the actual substance of Sarandon’s remarks, even when confronted by commenters who raised them. None has corrected their claims.

Sarandon apologized on Friday, two weeks after her original statement. But the sleight of hand others used to defend her—in which apologetics for anti-Jewish violence are disingenuously recast as Palestinian advocacy—is endemic to our current discourse. Last month, an activist told a public-radio journalist that he’d been receiving “50 hate calls an hour” over a pro-Palestinian speech he delivered at an October 8 rally. But what he actually did was explicitly cheer the murder of civilians and declare, “I salute Hamas—a job well done.” This fact appeared nowhere in the published story, which said only that he “spoke in support of Palestine.”

Pro-Palestinian activism is not the same as anti-Semitism, which is why it’s important that when people say bigoted things about Jews or support violence against them, their words should not be conflated with Palestinian advocacy. But unfortunately, too many anti-Semites wrap themselves in the Palestinian cause, and too many partisans are happy to let them do so. This does not help any Palestinians, as it tends to tar their cause with prejudice, but it does insulate a fair number of anti-Semites from the consequences of their words or actions. That’s why in recent weeks, many bigots have attempted to use the Palestinian plight as their alibi, vandalizing Jewish institutions around the world, including synagogues and kosher restaurants, with “Free Palestine” and related slogans.

Every community has biases—toward the rich and powerful, toward ideological allies—that lead it to excuse bad behavior it would otherwise repudiate. But such excuses for prejudice work only because we allow them to. Covert anti-Semitism tends to turn into overt anti-Semitism. Until we start seriously confronting the former, we can expect more of the latter."

Several days ago, a person typed online
"Sean Trende noted on Twitter that some liberals are shocked to discover that leftist "antizionists" who are cheering or excusing Hamas mean what they say. Which inspired this post of mine on Instapundit.

OCTOBER 9, 2023
THEY ARE COOL WITH GENOCIDE:
There has been too much pointless debate over whether those who call for Israel’s destruction are necessarily antisemitic. The important point is that such people know that the end of Israel most likely means genocide for 7.5 million Israeli Jews, and they are okay with that.

Whether they are motivated by Islamism, leftist bs “anticolonialism,” hostility to the West with Israel as their first target, or pure hatred of Jews is immaterial, it’s much worse than mere antisemitism. Most antisemites aren’t full-on Nazis, and as much as they dislike Jews would object to mass murder (just like most people who have racist opinions of black people would object to mass murder). The so-called antizionists do not, and therefore are much worse.

It’s a weird tic of American progressivism to worry more about people’s moral intentions than their actions. I really don’t care if someone doesn’t like Jews. But someone who claims and may sincerely think that they have nothing against Jews, but is content to see my friends and relatives in Israel murdered in the name of some idiotic ideology, that’s a real problem.

PS: Here’s a test, which in my experience almost all leftist “antizionists” fail. Most of them will claim that they have some solution in mind to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict that will protect the rights of what would become the Jewish minority in “Palestine.” So you ask them, “well, what if it turns out as a practical matter that your one-state solution, if implemented, will likely result in the murder/expulsion/oppression of the 7.5 million Jews in Israel. Would you still support it?” This should be an easy question to answer, especially given that it’s a pure hypothetical that could not be binding. I’ve asked this many times to “antizionists,” and I’ve never received an unequivocal “no.” Like I said, they are ok with genocide."

A person typed online in late October 2023 about the
October 7th, 2023 Hamas Attacks
"I will tell you why anti-Israel sources are currently throwing away their credibility by being sympathetic to Hamas after its murderous rampage, spreading obvious lies, or both. This is the Flight 93 conflict for them. They don't want peace, they don't want two states, they want the Jews to pack up and go... somewhere. 1/
The underlying theory is that if you make life sufficiently difficult for Israelis, they will pack up and leave like the French in Algeria. Moreover, if you sway world public opinion enough against Israel, other powers like the US will stop Israel from dealing a mortal military blow to its enemies. Thus, all Israel's enemies need is patience. 2/
The current situation threatens both presumptions. Hamas dealt Israel maybe the worst blow in its history, and instead of leaving to mass exit, Israelis from all over the world returned to help, and boy are Israelis fighting mad. And the US government, with general support from Europe, is saying that Israel has to absolutely destroy Hamas. 3/
Worse yet, for the first time, the US has intervened directly militarily on Israel's side by stationing two aircraft carriers in the Med to deter Hezbollah and Iran from inflicting yet more pain on Israel. 4/
The end result of this conflict could be such a major defeat for the Israel eliminationists that the Palestinians and others finally wake up to the fact that Israel isn't going anywhere, that some accommodation must be made, and that's the end of "antizionism." So the genocide lobby will lie, openly support the worst sorts of terrorism to rally the base (so to speak) and so on. Because it's now or never. 5/5 End." The sad reality is that Israel in 2023 is such a tiny nation in population and geographic size , compared to the Arab World, Israel is like a larger version of the Warsaw Ghetto in the 1943 Warsaw Ghetto Uprising against the Genocidal German Nazis, with the
"Palestinians" Other Arab Nations & Iran are basically the New Nazi Germany that want to Finish Hitler's Work
Israel is just trying to survive

November 2023 about Kyrie Irving wearing a
"Palestinian" keffiyeh during a
NBA Game Press Conference after the
Hamas Attacks of October 7th, 2023
"Obviously to hell with the dim-witted, emotional adolescent, flat-earther Kyrie Irving. And Mark Cuban, I like you, but you suck for trading for this guy and tolerating this human, you’ve lost some of our respect no doubt. But the person who should feel the most shame is NBA COMMISSIONER ADAM SILVER. Many of you are not familiar with the details so allow me to quickly summarize. Some years back, the former owner of the LA Clippers (a Jew) was privately recorded saying a racial slur, he was forced out of the league. Keep in mind his girlfriend was black and he had been paying hundreds of millions of dollars in wages to black employees. The guy was probably a prick (don’t know, doesn’t matter)but Adam Silver led the “social justice warrior” mob to shame him into eternal obscurity. An insane over-reaction in my opinion but a sign of the times of a hyper over-sensitive climate in the throes of cancel culture. Bare in mind this only came to light because his black girlfriend secretly recorded him talking jealously about her black male friends. (Not a great look but not exactly fair justice for an older man to have his whole successful life defined by either.)"

The comment continues
"Fast forward to last year when Kyrie Irving PUBLICLY endorsed a movie supporting Hitler and promoting an idea that European Jews are fake and that they stole the identity from the real black Israelites in Africa. He was at the time playing for the Brooklyn franchise, ironically the most Jewish place in the world outside of Israel. He then proceeded to refuse to apologize when given multiple opportunities. His punishment was a mere suspension for a handful of games, and even that people were decrying him as the victim and saying, “See! You can’t criticize the Jews!!” Put into the context of what happened to Clippers owners Donald Sterling, I was absolutely disgusted by the NBA, the media and most of all Jewish Commisioner Adam Silver. Keep in mind hardly a single active NBA player besides Israeli player Deni Avdija condemned Kyrie. What is even more disgusting is that after this happened Kyrie became even more popular with the fans and was voted by the fans as one of the very top selections for the allstar game. That was the canary in the coal mine moment for me on the resurgence of antisemitism, especially in the black community. Wasn’t the Kanye incident, it was Kyrie. And that little coward of a man Mr Silver had nothing to say. Mr Cuban, I lost a bunch of respect for you too.

Keep in mind the levels of insanity the NBA went to promoting BLM during the riots over Covid. Could you even imagine what would happen if a white professional athlete tweeted something endorsing the KKK?!?!? And as terrible as the KKK is, their history isn’t even a fraction of the ugliness of Hitler and the Nazi’s. And for sake of clarity to distinguish the jarring hypocrisy between the reactions and outcomes of these two episodes, the comments of the Clippers owners were said in private to his girlfriend and recorded without his consent. The message Kyrie endorsed, which was many magnitudes worse, was done publicly on Twitter with intention followed by a refusal to apologize for multiple days. If you stop to think about it it’s truly breathtaking that this guy is not a national pariah. On the other hand, and truly this is not said to make this partisan, but you’re barely even allowed to support mainstream Republicans without a backlash. Literally when owners of various sport teams have donated to Republican candidates and causes they got crap from league officials and sponsors. The NBA even pulled the Allstar game out of North Carolina a few years back because of some law it passed about transgender bathrooms. Yes, Adam Silver is willing to take a massive stand in the name of trans rights even if it tramples the clearly defined 10th amendment, but take a stand for Jews against overt antisemitism? Nah… meh… People wouldn’t understand….? I guess this goes back to the soft bigotry of low expectations."

The comment lastly says
"If anyone has any personal contact or connection to Mr Adam Silver or the media you should shame him to kingdom come. Rabbi’s should get together and make him persona non-grata. They did it to a brilliant man like Spinoza, they can do it to an embarrassing pissant like Adam Silver.

I make this rant because I have not seen a single substantive condemnation of this nauseating hypocrisy of one of our own. Now pardon me as I reach for my bottle of Xanax…"

About Jew-Hatred which is getting worse and worse after the October 7th, 2023
Hamas Attacks
A person recently typed on the Internet
On “Jewish Privilege” in 2022 that Explained why "Jewish Privilege" is an Anti-Semitic Lie

"I recently saw a post containing the picture below of what is supposedly something being passed out at some riots and protests and circulated on social media. I couldn’t help but think, once again, that history is repeating itself. This is EXACTLY how antisemitism has worked in every country Jews have lived throughout history. The way Jews today are labeled as privileged and excluded from the discussion of racism has seriously bothered me for quite a while. So, after seeing this vile post, I decided to compile a list highlighting important components of this so called “Jewish privilege”.

Here are some of the “Jewish privileges” the Jews of my generation have had:

1. Your grandparents had numbers tattooed on their arm. When you asked about the tattoo as a child, you were told about how your sweet grandparents were dehumanized, turned into numbers, and tortured unimaginably for years by the Nazis.
2. Those same grandparents all had severe PTSD when they raised your parents. (Yes, my parents’ entire generation of Jews were brought up by parents with PTSD).
3. Every time you visited your grandparents you saw pictures or memorials of the many aunts and uncles you will never meet or even visit in a graveyard because they were shot, starved, gassed, burned to ash in ovens, and buried in mass graves.
4. At least once a year, starting at a young age, you heard your grandparents and your friends’ grandparents tell stories of the atrocities they had committed against them by the Nazis so you, and everyone else, would never forget the horrors of antisemitism.
5. Starting at a young age, you learned about how, throughout history, in every single place your people have ever lived, the gentile majority eventually turned you. When your people were lucky, you just had lies spread about you, laws passed against you, and were expelled or forced to flee. When you were unlucky, Jewish men women and children were beaten, tortured, and murdered en masse, leaving only the survivors to flee.
*to give you an idea of the frequency of this, one historical study compiled a data set of occurrences of this type of antisemitic persecution in just Europe between years 1100-1800. In that time, Jews were persecuted this way 1366 times in 936 different places in Europe. I will include a picture of a map showing locations and a link to both the cited study and to info about the many many instances of mass persecution since 1800 in the comments.”
“6. You are told as a young child that you must bring a baseball cap with you when you go to certain places so you can cover your yarmulke because it will be safer for you if people don’t know you are Jewish.

Anonymous said...

7. Your school, synagogue, local Jewish Community Center, or other Jewish organization you are affiliated with has been the target of antisemitic vandalism or a bomb threat. Some of those times while you were there.
8. Multiple times a year, every year, you hear (or experience) rockets being fired at innocent Jewish civilians living in Israel. Since 2001, close to 20,000 rockets have been fired on Jewish civilian populations, injuring or killing thousands of Jewish men women and children. That is an average of almost 3 rockets a day, every day, for almost 20 years. And even if you, your friends, and your family aren’t killed by the rockets, studies have found that nearly half of Jewish toddlers and preteens as well as around 30-40% of parents in cities frequently targeted by rockets are suffering from PTSD.
9. You have personally experienced antisemitism. Some brief examples from my life include: at 13 years old being called a dirty Jew by someone I thought was a friend. As a teenager, being told at a program I was attending that I would not be missed once I leave bc I am Jewish. Again as a teenager, playing sports with non-Jewish teens at the park and, after performing well, overhearing other kids say to each other “even the Jew is better than you”. As an adult being scared for my safety when a car kept circling the block I was walking down while the people inside the car yelled antisemitic slurs at me and ran over the trashcans in front of Jewish houses. (I have more stories but you get the idea).
10. You see vicious antisemitic lies, blood libels, and propaganda spread about you and your people by the media, major religious leaders, and elected politicians in many countries around the world (including America). You are particularly hurt by the ubiquitous antisemitic cartoons depicting your people as greedy, devious, big nosed, thieving, murderous dogs or pigs who are out to get non Jews and manipulate the world.
11. Despite being the minority group with the highest rate of hate crimes perpetrated against you per 100,000 people in the US (by FBI data 2018), you consistently see the hate, discrimination, violence, and murder committed against you downplayed, dismissed, or totally ignored.
To put the hate crime rate statistics into perspective I am going to compare them to rates for other minority groups. I am not trying to turn this into a competition and even a single hate crime is vile and evil. However, the original post already makes this comparison and claims Jews are privileged so, in context, I believe this comparison is needed for perspective. Based on FBI data from 2018, Jews are 2.7x more likely than blacks, and 2.2x more likely than Muslims to be the victim of a hate crime.
12. Year after year you feel an increased feeling of fear as you watch the nations of the world come together at the UN to single out the Jews and disproportionately condemn the only Jewish state in the world and the only democracy in the Middle East while ignoring real and severe human rights violations far worse than anything Israel has ever done. In 2019 the UN had 25 total resolutions total. 18 to criticize Israel, 2 criticizing Crimea, and only 1 resolution each to criticize Iran, Syria, North Korea, Myanmar, and the US. Countries that were ignored in favor of spending more time criticizing the Jewish state (where unlike these other countries, all citizens are free and have equal rights) include Venezuela, Saudi Arabia, Russia, China, Pakistan, Belarus, Cuba, Turkey, Algeria, and many others. 18 against the Jews and 7 against the entire rest of the world combined. (anyone who doesn’t get why this is bad or scary, feel free to PM me)."

Anonymous said...

13. You have repeatedly seen your entire people judged with bias based on the actions of the few. Like Mayor De Blasio did at the end of April.
14. And perhaps scariest and most troubling of all, your experience and history as a persecuted minority is invalidated and dismissed, even among the “woke”, because your skin color is too light. Even though you have history of consistent persecution spanning everywhere on earth you have ever lived and every time/age for which there is a recorded history, you are excluded from the intersectional conversation because many Jews have skin that looks white.
15. As antisemitism around the world rises, you anxiously wonder how much time you have left until the your people are expelled and/or murdered once again.

There are more points to make here but I’m tired and I think this is enough to illustrate the point.”

*Are you #Antisemitic?*

The "3D test" of #antisemitism was formulated by the Israeli human rights advocate and politician Natan Sharansky to distinguish between legitimate criticism of Israel and plain antisemitism.

*Delegitimization*
The denial of the Jewish people's right to self-determination.
Example: "From The River To the Sea" means the Jews have no rights to their homeland.

*Demonization*
Antisemitism means Jews are often falsely blamed.
Examples:
👉 They are accused of conspiring to harm humanity
👉 They are blamed for being evil or controlling the world
👉 They are blamed for 'why things go wrong'

*Double standards*
Different principles for different people.
Examples:
👉 International organizations (UN Women, the Red Cross) care about the human rights of prisoners, unless they are Jews,
👉 Universities follow their codes of conduct for all students except Jewish ones.

*So, where do you stand in this matter?*

"So apparently, many sick degenerate Anti-Semites are upset about a Jewish tradition, practiced by some Orthodox Jews. This tradition involves the slaughtering of chickens and then donating them to feed the impoverished as a form of atonement before Yom Kippur, the holiest day in Judaism.

It is important to clarify that this practice is not a “sacrifice” but rather an ancient tradition rooted in charity and alleviating hunger. In Judaism, performing acts of kindness is seen as a path to self-improvement.

Despite not being vegan or vegetarian, I do hold the belief that animals should be treated with compassion until the end of their lives. Regrettably, this is not always the case in many slaughterhouses around the globe, which is indeed tragic. This issue has been observed in some Hassidic neighborhoods in Brooklyn.

What is perplexing, however, is the swift reaction of these anti-Semitic individuals to condemn the treatment of animals in this Jewish practice, while simultaneously ignoring or even justifying the heinous acts committed by Hamas terrorists, including the merciless killing of over a thousand individuals, many of whom were children, on October 7th.

This selective outrage and hypocrisy by these perverted Jew haters is disgusting. They choose to condemn a Jewish tradition aimed at helping the poor, yet they turn a blind eye to, and in many cases endorse, the atrocities committed by Hamas. This is absolutely sickening and perverted!"

I read online about how this One time in Global Studies class in High School in the 1990’s in New York City, the
White Christian Male teacher was talking to the students about the Horrors of Slavery, innocent Blacks taken from Africa, treated worse than animals, crammed into Boats and shipped to America and other parts of the World
A female White Christian Student said to the teacher
“I can’t believe how the Blacks were treated like they weren’t even human beings, it was so Evil, so
Immoral, so disgusting” the White female Christian student was horrified by how Innocent Blacks were treated. Slavery was Evil and an Injustice, the World must Never Forget the Horrors of Slavery and how Innocent Blacks suffered
Now if that same White Christian Male Teacher was Teaching about the Horrors of the Nazi Holocaust, how 6 Million Jews were Killed and treated even worse than the Black Slaves , would that
White Female Christian Student even care ? Would she ? As Compared to how she was horrified and upset, deeply moved by how innocent Blacks were treated during Slavery ,

Of course the White Christian Male Teacher didn’t mention how
The Arabs were behind the Slave trade of Innocent Black people, how it was an Arab Slave Trade that caused horrible Black Suffering

In late October 2023 a person typed online about the Hamas Attacks of October 7th, 2023
"If you’re not Jewish, please read this:

I am going to explain to you why no matter what other identities I have, I will always need to be a Jew first. I am a woman, I am a progressive, I am an atheist, I am a feminist, I am a person who cares about others and feels overwhelming empathy. First and foremost though — I am a Jew, and I will never not be a Jew.

There are about 8 billion people in the world. Of those, about 4 billion are women. I care deeply about women. I care about fighting misogyny and rape culture. I care about our reproductive rights. I care about being treated with dignity and respect. I am not alone in this fight. Although many misogynists exist, so do many feminists. Women are not in danger of being wiped out of existence. Being a woman has its challenges, and I will continue to stand up for women as long as I live, but I do not worry about women ceasing to exist.

Before the Holocaust, the world had about 17 million Jews. Today, we have about 16 million. While the world population grew from around 2 billion to 8 billion, the Jewish population has still not recovered from the Holocaust. We shrank from an already tiny ~0.8% of the world to an even tinier ~0.2% of the world. And it’s not for a lack of trying (this is a joke about older Jews encouraging the younger ones to make more Jewish babies). So, when antisemitism rears its ugly head, I feel an existential threat like you cannot possibly conceive of if you are not Jewish.

Last Saturday, October 7th, over 1300 Israelis were brutally murdered by the terrorist organization, Hamas. Thousands more were injured, many were raped, tortured, brutalized, kidnapped, bloody corpses paraded through the streets — things you cannot even imagine in the worst horror movies you’ve ever seen. And most of it was gleefully filmed and shared by Hamas, causing even more trauma and distress to the families of the victims and to Jews around the world. Not all Israelis are Jewish, and not all of the victims were Jewish, but most were. This was the largest single day massacre of Jews since the Holocaust. And we have still not even recovered from the Holocaust."

The comment continues
"Jews cannot stop being Jewish. It is not simply a religion. We predate modern notions of race and religion. Jews are an ethnoreligious group — we were a tribe of people. The nation of Israel. We spread all over the world in the diaspora, we survived so many attacks on our people, yet we still have our shared roots and culture. No matter how religious or non-religious a Jew is — they are still a Jew. Hitler did not spare atheist Jews, and neither did Hamas. This is about so much more than religion.

Whatever you may think about the state of Israel and its government — it exists. And it is primarily Jewish. It is also home to Muslims, Christians, Druze, Bahai, Bedouin, and more. Israeli civilians do not deserve to be murdered and terrorized. They deserve to live safely and peacefully in their home. None of this means that Palestinians do not also deserve their own state, their own dignity, and their own home. But for right now, I am a Jew talking to you about the Jews.

Most governments are imperfect. Most countries are imperfect. Caring about Israeli and Jewish lives doesn’t mean I am claiming that Israel is perfect. Many Israeli Jews protest actions of their government that they do not agree with. Jews are known for valuing human life. Please, value our lives too — because we actually have been in danger of being wiped off the face of the Earth time and time again. We carry intergenerational trauma from all of this. We have really high rates of anxiety. We are hyper-vigilant. We want to live. We want to see our people survive this time around."

"When the largest single day massacre of Jews since the Holocaust was followed by cheers, justifications, and victim-blaming, it broke us. For the past week, we have seen people all over the world make excuses for our murders. This painfully reminds us of all the past atrocities we have experienced. For me personally, what hurts in particular is that so much of it comes from groups I thought I belonged to. I thought I was included in intersectional feminism. I thought I was included in progressive values. I thought my life mattered too. Then, I see them laugh at the deaths of people just like me, who happened to be living in Israel on October 7th. I see them denying and justifying the rapes of Israeli girls, the murders of our babies, the kidnapping of our innocent civilians. Condemning these atrocious acts by Hamas would not mean you suddenly don’t value Palestinian lives. By all means, value their lives too. No innocent civilian deserves to be murdered."

Anonymous said...

& continues
"Making excuses for these unfathomable acts of terror against Israelis just because you hate Israel is incomprehensible in its callousness. We are humans. You do not do this to other citizens of countries whose governments you disagree with. The difference here is that this country happens to have the largest Jewish population in the world, and that is not lost on us. You may not see this as antisemitism, because most non-Jews lack the experience and education necessary to properly identify all the different iterations of antisemitism, but it is. It’s insidious and it disguises itself in progressive language, but if it justifies murdering so many of us, there’s not much else it could possibly be. It’s either ignorance or antisemitism, or both.

When people talk about Jews being “white European colonizers” in Israel, they completely erase our history and our roots. You know very well that we do not come from Europe. The Nazis murdered 6 million Jews for being the “other.” We were very clearly not viewed as white Europeans. Wherever Jews went in the diaspora, we were discriminated against and told to go back home. We were discriminated against in the Arab countries too, enduring pogroms in the years leading up to the creation of the modern state of Israel. Additionally, 850,000 Mizrahi Jews were kicked out of their homes shortly before and after Israel’s founding in 1948. You can acknowledge Palestinian suffering without denying Jewish history. Jews did not just pop up out of thin air. We are a people with roots. Jews come from the Kingdoms of Israel and Judah, which is where modern day Israel is."

& lastly says
"None of this means that every Jew or every Israeli agrees with every single thing the Israeli government has ever done. You would not assume that about any other country’s citizens. But regardless, Israel is the home of many Jews, and it is where we all originate. We have a home, and we deserve to live in it without being brutalized and murdered, and without having our lives devalued and our deaths justified. This is not an insane ask. Most people, especially minority groups with a history of so much oppression and persecution, would not have to beg people who claim to be progressive to recognize this very basic human right. Being Jewish comes with a heavy weight and a deep-seated hatred that is really hard for non-Jews to grasp.

No matter where I go, what I do, or what I believe, I will always be a Jew. And the existential threat facing the Jewish people is unique in a way that is really hard to explain to non-Jews. We are over-represented and overly scrutinized in so many areas. For thousands of years, we’ve just been trying to survive threats to entirely wipe us out. Imagine the lasting trauma that this can have on a group of people who make up only .2% of the world yet are talked about as if we have some undue influence, power, control, or oppressive nature. It’s not true. We are just human beings. We don’t deserve to be murdered for where we live. All over the world we were told to go back home, and finally many of us did, and now that place apparently isn’t where we belong either. But it is our home.

European colonization and Arab colonization are real. And still, Europeans don’t deserve to be slaughtered and neither do Arabs. The Americas are colonized, and still Americans don’t deserve to be slaughtered. Yet, the world’s focus is on this tiny sliver of land where many of the world’s tiny little Jewish population happens to live. The place we actually originate from. This isn’t a coincidence. It’s Jew-hatred in its most recent form. We don’t deserve this constant justification of our murders everywhere we go.

We deserve to live."

All other Groups of people in the World Combined, COMBINED , In the Old Testament

Where is the Justice,
The Divine Justice and God’s Wrath upon the Anti-Semites and Jew-Haters ? When will God Punish Them ? When ? When?
We feel that each and every single untold Billions of Individual male and female Anti-Semite

Lake of Fire for all Eternity when they ultimately pass away, for the Psychological harm and distress they caused the Jewish people. Even if they never did anything illegal or violent, even if they only think Anti-Semitic, Anti-Israel thoughts , that by itself is a Horrible Sin that should cause God to Condemn them to Suffer for all Eternity when they pass away. When they ultimately pass away and stand before God, their precious “Free Speech” won’t save them from God’s Wrath, they can Cry “Free Speech” all they want but the Jokes on them because it won’t save them from God’s Wrath and Divine Justice

"The Europeans seem intent on preventing Israel from eliminating Hamas from Gaza and removing the existential threats Hamas represents.

Daily, European officials, connected with the EU, Germany, Belgium, Netherlands and France, call upon the USA to stop arms to Israel.

And South Africa, after losing its case at the International Court of Justice, has reissued its complaint demanding Israel be stopped.

Think about it. Why would they want Israel to stop? Why do they refuse to recognize that Hamas is totally responsible for the suffering in Gaza?

There is only two answers. Antisemitic bigotry and a fear of Muslim Violence in their cities.

And they do this because they assume that opposing Israel has no cost for them.

Perhaps it is time to change that.

But it is not only Israel. They see the USA as an adversary too unless the US keeps its wallets open and the money flowing to Europe. So US politicians who demand that Europe pay for its own defense and that trade with Europe should be fair and reciprocal, are viewed as the enemy by European leaders.

Let's try something. What can Israel do to punish those who want Israel damaged or gone? Suggestions welcome

NOTE THAT SO FAR ISRAEL HAS HELD BACK, HAS NOT USED ALL THE MEANS IT CAN TO FIGHT AND DESTROY ITS ENEMIES."

"In its attempts to defend itself from a campaign openly motivated by genocide, and in the aftermath of an attack that systematically targeted Israeli civilians, including infants and the use of systematic sexual violence, Israel is fighting with unprecedented restraint.

The civilian to combatant kill ratio in Gaza, even granting Hamas’ own casualty figures (which are plainly a lie) is currently less than 1.3:1.

The average in modern urban warfare is ~9:1
Higher intensity conflicts generally have lower civilian casualty rates, as seen here:
US in Afganistan - 4:1 (it was closer to 3-1 before Trump ratcheted up the body count and began targeting civilians in 2017)
Allies in World War II - 2:1
Allies in Korean war - 3:1
US in Vietnam war - 3:1
Russia in Chechen war - 7:1
US in Iraq war - 4:1
Lebanon Civil War - 5:1

The IDF is doing extremely well in preventing civilian deaths, in a conflict where its enemy is doing everything possible to maximize civilian casualties, including the use of human shields, fighting in one of the most densely populated areas in the world against an enemy with an extensive underground tunnel system which extensively uses civilian infrastructure. Enemy fighters do not wear uniforms.

Despite all of this, you people, happy to ignore such conflicts as the Tigray War, the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, the Civil War in Myanmar, the ongoing Sudanese Civil War, and so forth, routinely accuse Israel of carrying out a “genocide.”

Pure, unmitigated antisemitism."

The comment continues
"I’ve been lied to my whole life. Never again? Right…

The world will not lift a finger to ensure that the Holocaust never happens again. They’ll close their eyes and pretend they don’t see what’s happening. Just like they did before the Holocaust.

Jews can no longer say “It won’t happen here, it won’t happen to me.”

That is what the German Jews said to themselves. How do I know? My grandparents told me.

But organizations like the UN/UNRWA, governments like South Africa and Ireland, they’ve shown us clearly that they stand behind Hamas’ declared plan of killing every last Jew.

The Jewish people have been a bright light unto the nations, but it seems the forces of darkness want to extinguish the light.

The good news is that our light will never be extinguished no matter how hard they try.

What will happen is that those who stand against the Jewish people will soon disappear and will be nothing but pages in a history book alongside their friends, the many nations and empires that tried to get rid of the Jews. The only thing they got rid of is themselves.

They are gone, the Jews are still very much here.

Never again because this time around, the Jewish people have tanks and fighter jets and they are not afraid to use them.

The world was silent then and the world is being silent now.

You can make a choice. You can stand with the forces of darkness who murder, rape, decapitate, abduct, and glorify innocent death, or you can stand with the forces of light that illuminate, innovate, and glorify life.

It’s your choice, and the stakes are high.

Those who stand with the Jewish people, those who bless us will be blessed.

Those who get in our way and curse us, will be cursed, and will perish. It’s just a fact that keeps repeating itself in every generation.

The only reason that it’ll never happen again? Three letters, I. D. F.

Stand with the Jews, choose the right side of history. Learn from the mistakes of others.

And to those who are offended by the comparison between Nazis and Hamas, you’re right. There really is no comparison.

The Nazis tried to hide what they were doing, Hamas live streamed it."

"An unverified rumor in the beginning of the war, that Israel unintentionally bombed a hospital in Gaza, a rumor that turned out to be totally 100% false?

The world loses it.

Hard evidence that Hamas used a hospital to hide hostages, gather weapons, and establish a terror base?

Crickets…

Hamas fires a rocket into Israel that lands close to an Israeli hospital?

Crickets…

The hypocrisy is staggering.

The global support for Hamas will forever be a stain on the moral compass of the western world.

We, the Jewish people, see you, and we have a tendency to remember who our friends are, and who stood with our enemies.

We didn’t forget what the Egyptians did to us.

We didn’t forget what the Greeks did to us.

We didn’t forget what the Romans did to us.

We didn’t forget what Amalek did to us.

We didn’t forget what the Nazis did to us.

We won’t forget what the world is doing to us right now.

That list of empires? They have two things in common:

1- They tried to annihilate the Jews.

2- They are long gone and have disappeared into the pages of history books.

The same fate awaits Hamas supporters.

Someone once said about the Mideast Confict, and how some Israel Supporters can’t stand the Arabs and Fakestinians that
“Arab-Hatred is No Better than
Jew-Hatred”
Some people rightly replied
“No, Jew-Hatred is Infinitely Much Worse and the Ultimate Evil Sin, crime against God and Humanity.
Arabs don’t matter, Arabs don't count
Arabs have Never been hated, persecuted and murdered all throughout human history everywhere in the World like the Jews have. Arabs have Never Suffered All throughout Human History Everywhere like the Jews have. They aren’t sensitive and self-hating like the Jews are. There is No
Universal Anti-Arab Hatred , The Arabs have almost 1,000 Times More Land in the Mideast than Israel, and Hundreds of Millions more people than Israel, so Arabs don’t matter”

Again , Arabs don’t count , when have Arabs ever been Hated or Persecuted like Jews have ?
Never , Instead it is the Arabs who promote Hate and Persecution and make others Suffer

Plus people also replied that
Jew-Hatred is Infinitely Worse because in the Midest Conflict
Fakestinians and Arabs don’t fear death like Normal people do, they want to die in battle and become “Martyrs” They
often murder other Fakestinians, their birthrate is sadly very high and they breed Relentlessly
Not All Hatreds are Equal
Anti-Semitism, Jew-Hatred ,
Anti-Israel Hatred is the Most Evil Satanic Hatred, the Ultimate Evil & Wickedness
So Yes, Jew-Hatred is Infinitely Worse than Arab-Hatred ,
Jew-Hatred is Infinitely Worse
When Arabs are disliked and hated by others, it's because they bring it upon themselves
So Once Again
Jew-Hatred is Infinitely Worse, Infinitely Worse than hatred of Arabs or Other Groups
Not All Hatreds are Equal
Not All Sins are Equal
Jew-Hatred is the #1 Most Ultimate Evil Hatred and Sin , the Ultimate Evil Crime Against God and Humanity

"A bit of a loaded topic, but if no one else is gonna go there, I will.

If one more person, Jewish or not, makes the claim that Judaism and Zionism are two different things…

Spoiler: They are not.

Zionism, aka our longing to come home to our homeland, Zion aka Jerusalem is as intrinsic to Judaism as it gets.

Jews, for literally thousands of years uttered the words:

“ולירושלים עירך ברחמים תשוב״

That sentence, among hundreds of others, is uttered by Jews in our daily prayers. It means “And to Jerusalem your city you will return with mercy.”

Throughout our exile, over all those thousands of years, Jews longed to return to Zion. Jews were Zionists.

To separate Zionism from Judaism is like separating church from Christianity and Muhammad from Islam. It can’t be done. Zionism is a core component of Judaism.

I am no rabbi or religious scholar but I will say loud and clear that if you are not a Zionist, you cannot possibly be a good Jew.

Let me clarify, there’s no such thing as a person who never sins. However, it’s one thing to spread gossip about someone (Which is a horrible thing to do!), which is an act, a wrong act, but an act nonetheless. It’s another whole thing to not believe in a foundational component of our tradition.

Not believing in Zionism is not an act. It is a fundamental belief that completely contradicts the Torah and the very essence of being a Jew.

So yes, there are Jews who say they are not Zionists. That’s their prerogative, but the truth is, whatever religion they believe in is fine, but it sure as heck ain’t Judaism.

The land of Israel is mentioned thousands of times in the Torah. By the way, important to mention that it is not mentioned once in the Koran. Just sayin.

So those extremist neturei karta people, the “Ultra Orthodox Jews” supporting the Arabs in their war against Israel? I don’t know who they are or what they are, but Jews they are not.

All those ultra liberal Jews who like to proclaim that they are Jewish but not Zionist, I got news for you. You’re not that unique. Jews throughout history sided with the enemy. Jews were always their worst enemy and liberal Jewry that supports the enemies of the state of Israel, I wish you luck but whatever it is you’re practicing, it ain’t Judaism.

In fact, how about this?

Neturei Karta or liberal anti Zionist Jews, let’s do an experiment. Go to Gaza. Just walk in. See what happens.

Oh, what’s that? You’ve never even been here and are speaking about the conflict like you’re an expert when you actually know zero about it? Shocker.

Well, get on a plane and go to Ramallah. See how well they welcome you. After all, you are their biggest supporters. Don’t forget to kiss your wife and kids goodbye before you go.

Because, guess what? You know who does consider you Jewish? Our enemies. That’s right. Observant, secular, ultra orthodox, left, right, liberal conservative, we are all in the same boat.

Our enemies know that Zionism and Judaism can’t really be separated. If you’re a Jew, you are a Zionist and that’s why they think you deserve to die, the same way I, a proud Zionist, does.

To summarize, Zionism and Judaism are not two separate things. Zionism, along with other pillars, is a fundamental inseparable part of Judaism.

If you follow Judaism, you are a Zionist. It’s fairly simple. Any other claim about this is a perversion of what Judaism really is.

Oh, and one more thing. If we’ve established that Zionism is a core component of Judaism, what does that say about someone who calls himself anti Zionist?

Say it with me slowly.

**An anti Zionist is the same thing as an antisemite.**

I know, it’s not a popular opinion and even slightly politically incorrect. Get over it. The truth is the truth."

"I am so sick of Jews apologizing for existing.

I am so sick of Jews apologizing for defending themselves.

I am so sick of Jews apologizing for the optics of doing what’s right.

I am so sick of Jews apologizing for coming back to their eternal homeland.

I am so sick of Jews apologizing for fighting back and defeating a cruel terrorist organization.

I am so sick of Jews apologizing for winning wars.

I am so sick of Jews apologizing for the (tragic but inevitable) innocent people who die in a war that Israel didn’t start and didn’t want.

I am so sick of Jews apologizing for speaking up against antisemitism.

I am so sick of Jews apologizing for stating the hard, but sometimes unpopular fact that Israel is fighting a society that is deeply indoctrinated and rotten to the core.

I am so done apologizing.

I am NOT sorry for existing, for defending myself, for the optics of this war, for coming home to my homeland, for waging a war against a cruel terrorist organization, for winning wars, for the innocent people that Hamas is using as human shields in order to maximize civilian deaths (I am sad about it, I truly am, but every one of those people is on Hamas, not Israel.), for speaking up against antisemitism, and for unequivocally stating that Gaza and the general Palestinian society is deeply indoctrinated and rotten to the core (of course there are some innocent people but those innocent people are silent and therefore irrelevant. Besides, thousands of those so-called innocent people took part in October 7th, gave out candies to celebrate Jewish deaths, and/or voted for Hamas. That’s not what I call innocent.)

Israel, contrary to what you were told, has the most moral army in the world. The lengths that the IDF goes to in order to minimize civilian deaths in Gaza are unprecedented and unparalleled.

The ratio between terrorist and “innocent” Gazan killed by Israel is unprecedented and unparalleled.

Dropping pamphlets to let the enemy know where the IDF will attack and when is unprecedented and unparalleled.

Israel and the Jewish people have nothing to apologize for. The Jewish people have been nothing but a source of light in this world.

Between the Nobel prizes won by Jews, Israel’s position as a leading technology superpower (look down at whatever device you are reading this on, and chances are at least part of it was developed in Israel), breakthroughs in medicine, cutting edge cancer treatments and research, rescue efforts across the world, and countless other achievements, the Jewish people have always been a source of bright light.

Sometimes when a light is too bright, if not prepared, it can blind you.

The Jews are done apologizing for their light, and if you don’t like it, either get sunglasses or be prepared to be blinded.

Our light will never go out, no matter how much darkness our enemies bring.

The era of the apologetic Jew who is led to the gas chambers with shaking knees, are over.

Sorry, but we are no longer sorry!

"For my part, I wholeheartedly agree with Hillel Fuld on every count. My good friend Francois Rolland expressed the same sentiment shortly after October 7 in these terms (and I paraphrase): "The world prefers its Jews to be helpless and defenceless." God forbid that they exercise the sovereign right of any other people on the planet to defend themselves. I share the disgust and disdain of all those who have had it up to the eyeballs with the insidious double standards and open antagonism towards Israel. And that is nowhere more evident than the Biden administration's desperate ploy to instrumentalise the UN to forestall Israel's operations in Rafah. The UN, of all things! The organisation which has delegitimalised itself through its complicity in Hamas's atrocities and its blatant indifference to the suffering of Israel's innocent victims, that's who Joe Biden wants to use to pressure Israel into losing a war of existential necessity.

By the way, we have been here before. Some 40 years ago, then Senator Joe Biden had attempted to push for cutting off military aid to Israel. Israeli PM Begin responded swiftly by reminding Biden that Israel would continue to do what it must to defend its very existence. The silence and indifference of the world which watched passively as Jews were led to the gas chambers or who even openly agitated to sabotage the fledgling Israeli state's fight for its very survival in 1948 as its Arab neighbours tried to destroy it (I'm looking at you, Britain and America): these things would no longer come to pass because the Jewish people would defend themselves, with or without any outside assistance. And now Biden struggles to prevent an electoral disaster of his own making by pandering to the antisemitic prejudices of the pro-Palestine Muslim sector of the American electorate, and to these ends he shows himself quite prepared to throw Israel and the domestic Jewish electorate under the bus.

Not going to happen. Please God, let Israel stay the course and do what must be done to comprehensively defeat this radical Islamist evil...for their sake as well as ours."

"On International Holocaust Remembrance Day I want to ask everyone to stop using Jews and the Holocaust as avatars and honor the spirit of the 6 million Jews who were senselessly and systematically murdered while the world looked away.

The promise of #NeverAgain is not empty words that you can post and move on, it’s a commitment to the Jewish people that you would do all you can to prevent it from happening again.

The Holocaust happened in living memory and yet it is still being challenged and reduced by some people. But it cannot be. The Holocaust is not up for a debate. The antisemitism that has caused it is not up for a debate either.

We promise to remember and promise to outlive them.

"UN confused humanitarian chief, Martin Griffiths, said that Hamas is not a terrorist organization even as he condemned Hamas for their "abhorrent terror attack" on 7 October.
This despite all the evidence that Israel is producing in spades and bodies on a daily basis since 7th October.
At a recent stormy UN meeting, Israeli Ambassador, Gilad Erdan, accused him of being a terror collaborator hiding behind a humanitarian cause.
The fact that the United Nations refuses to designate Hamas as a terrorist organization despite all the evidence does not mean that Hamas is not a terrorist organization.
It proves the complicity of the UN that justifies Erdan's complaint.
Let us remember that the United Nations is an organization that has a monthly standing order against only one nation on earth - Israel.
I rest my case!

From the Internet someone typed. "Also disturbing is how Back around April or May of 1994, two Black Male Students in the 8th grade of Public Junior High School in New York City came up to this male Jewish student and said to him “Are you Jewish ?” Which made the student very fearful and uncomfortable, the Jewish student sensed danger and denied being Jewish saying “No” but the Two male Black Students who couldn’t mind their own damn business kept asking questions about his Ethnicity, he said
“Irish and Scottish” the two Black males then went away .
However if the Jewish student admitted to being Jewish, it’s possible that the two Black Male Students would have then violently assaulted the Jewish student, maybe even killed the Jewish student. That was the gut feeling of the Jewish student and of myself who witnessed this disturbing incident. Not to sound
“Racist” and many Black people are Decent people . However that day in 1994 described above, a tragedy was averted, the Jewish student was still severely emotionally traumatized by those two Black Male Students who couldn’t mind their own damn business
Sadly at other times in that
Junior High School other Black male students couldn’t mind their own damn business and asked other students “Are you Jewish?”
It was Extremely inappropriate of these Black Male students in Junior High & High School to ask other students if they were Jewish, it’s none of their damn business, it was extremely inappropriate of them to ask , it made the students they asked very uncomfortable, seriously why can't those students mind their own f--king business"

That and because we were desensitized to violence and thought it was funny like itchy & scratchy and because many of my classmates were nazis and Catholic trads like Mel and Hutton Gibson.

Steven Spielberg that idiot came over and had a fit.

How about if they laughed at slavery? Laughing at Denzel Washington getting whipped in Glory or the movie seven years a slave! One of my clients a white woman did a movie review of the old version and the new version and she and her friend cried in the scenes where the psycho slaver yelled at Solomon AKA Plat and the other slaves and threatened them and used the N-word and verbally abused them and whipped them.

I got emotional too because my family and my teachers were verbally abusive to me as a child.

What if people laughed at that? Black or white? What would people say then?"

"Rick Steves is a California based notorious Jew hater and a travel enthusiast who has a YouTube Channel with more than 800,000 followers. He also runs well attended travel seminars and has a PBS radio show through which he spreads horrific lies about the State of Israel and his outrageous antisemitic views.

At an October 2019 lecture given by Steves at the Grace Lutheran Church in Palo Alto, he shared countless antisemitic and anti-Israeli lies and tropes including:

Jews control the media, specifically in the New York City area;Jews buy elections;Jews are parasites and feed off of U.S. aid;Israel was a post-Holocaust creation yet the irony stands that Jews oppress the Arabs today;Kosher laws are meant to isolate Jews from others;Israel cuts off water supplies for Palestinians on a whim;Jews are rich, Arabs are poor

This isn’t the first time a lecture of Steve’s was criticized for falsehoods and downright lies. In his 2014 production “The Holy Land: Israelis and Palestinians Today”, he falsely claims Jews are alien colonizers, the Christian population of Israel is shrinking (the opposite is true, it’s grown year over year since 1948), and openly supports terrorism."

A person typed online in
January 2022
"In a beautiful villa in Wannsee, outside of Berlin, Germany, the greatest evil was planned and unleashed 80 years ago on January 20th 1942. Led by Reinhard Heydrich, 14 high ranking Nazis, all well-educated, many with PhDs, met at Wannsee for a conference to put into action a plan to address the "Final Solution to the Jewish Question". The goal: to systematically exterminate the 11 million Jews of Europe, to make Europe Judenrein, free of Jews. 6 million Jews were gassed to death in specially designed death camps, like Auschwitz, and murdered in hard labor camps, and shot to death in mass executions in places like Babi Yar in the Ukraine, where 30,000 Jewish men women and children were killed over two days of slaughter and buried in mass graves. Among those 6 million are my maternal and paternal grandparents, a dozen Uncles and Aunts, some with their own families, and numerous cousins. Lives cut short; generations cut short.

Yesterday, the world observed Holocaust Remembrance Day as a reminder of how it lost its humanity, of how it fell into a moral abyss by aiding and abetting Germany, one of the most advanced and educated cultures, in its murder of Jews, either directly or by turning a blind eye. Countries like Poland, Latvia, Ukraine, Hungary, Lithuania, Holland, Belgium, Vichy France either willingly gave up its Jewish citizens for deportation to the death camps, or played a direct role in the killings. Countries like Canada and the United States turned a blind eye by blocking the immigration of refugees who were desperate to flee Germany/Europe to save their lives.

Has the world learned anything from the Holocaust about the consequences of hate and intolerance? Given the dramatic rise in Jew-hatred in this country, in Western countries like Britain and France, and countries around the world, it is hard to answer the question in the affirmative. Because Jew hatred goes back nearly 2 millennia, it is said that Jews are the canary in the coal mine for gauging the health of a country. There is a sickness of hate and intolerance for the “other” that is becoming endemic in this country, in particular, and in countries around the world. We must combat it. If we as human beings are to preserve our humanity, maintain our human dignity, and never again fall into a moral abyss, we must learn the lessons from the Holocaust about the consequences of intolerance and hate. It is only by remembering the past that we can preserve a future for our society."
