The Miracle of Zionism

"Hamas" and the Hebrew Bible

Did you know that Islam has a Hebrew Bible proof-text that mentions their prophet Muhammad by name? "No way" you say? The following is a topical Hebrew to English Muslim translation / interpolation of Song of Songs 5:16
"His mouth is most sweet: yea, he is Muhammad. This is my beloved, and this is my friend, O daughters of Jerusalem."

My sarcastic response to such an Islamic proof text is always the same:
"Wow, there must be many Mohammad Muslim prophets since Mohammad is mentioned by name as Machmadim (spelled in Hebrew "mem-chet-mem-dalet-yod-mem") in the plural of all things in Song of Solomon 5:16.1 And since he's mentioned by name within the Hebrew Bible, I'll bet I can find more Mohammad-named verses throughout the Hebrew Bible as well. Surely, Allah wouldn't have stopped at just one verse in naming his greatest prophet within the Hebrew text! Oh praise Allah, I just found some more Muhammad proof-texts within the Hebrew Bible that indeed mention Muhammad by name and I'd like to share them with your Muslim self. Here's how they read:"

"though they bring forth, yet will I slay even the "Mohammad fruit" of their womb." - Hosea 9:16

"where our fathers praised thee, is burned up with fire: and all our "Mohammad things" are laid waste." - Isaiah 64:11

For some reason I never get a response back about my Mohammad-named Hebrew Bible proof texts. You would think that Muslims who claim Song of Songs 5:16 as a Mohammad proof-text would be very exited over a Hebrew Bible reader like myself finding new Mohammad-named proof-texts within the Hebrew Bible?

One of the facts of life is whenever there is a bogus dollar bill note, that means that there is a real genuine dollar bill somewhere. I am one who don't put much faith in coincidences especially when it pertains to the Hebrew Bible. If the Muslims can paint into the Hebrew scriptures a bogus proof text perhaps there is real genuine text that indeed does mention Islam's involvement against the covenant by name - the name of "Hamas"?
.
"Hamas" is an Arabic acronym - not an actual word - for "Islamic Resistance Movement". Arabic is a sister language to the ancient Biblical Hebrew language, therefore, the Arabic term "Hamas" has in a sense a direct link to the Biblical Hebrew. Also, the Hamas terrorist organization operates within the land boundaries of ancient Israel, giving them a direct link - though negatively - to the biblical covenant land of Israel. The fact that Israel's enemies are indeed mentioned all through the Bible when addressing the land covenant of promise is something that is never mentioned by non-Zionists of the world - probably because it's not politically and Quartet-correct to do so.

When the Arabic acronym Hamas is placed as an actual Biblical Hebrew word (root word spelled chet-mem-samach) that Hebrew word begins to speak of the very nature that the Arab-terrorists Hamas organization displays throughout the biblical land of the covenant! Hamas in Hebrew means "violence, to oppress, and to do wrong". What is even more interesting is that the word Hamas is used to describe "violence" against the Jewish people (children of Judah) within the covenant land:
"Egypt shall be a desolation, and Edom shall be a desolate wilderness, for the Hamas against the children of Judah, because they have shed innocent blood in their land." - Joel 3:19 (Christian Bible) - Joel 4:19 (Hebrew Bible)
Even more interesting is the mentioning of "Egypt" in the text above. In following the confirmation of the Joel 3:19 text - a prophecy text - it is by their very own words of their 1988 covenant that Hamas declares that their organization originates from non-other than the Egyptian Brotherhood that began in Egypt during the Holocaust of all things.2
.
Centuries before the rebirth of the State of Israel Jews have viewed Edom as Christian-Rome and Egypt as Muslim-Ishmael. Israel's foremost enemy just after coming into a UN world recognized statehood was the Egyptian Fadayeen. Their terror attacks came from their controlled area of the Gaza Strip up until the 1967 Six Day War. Now, the spiritual offspring of the Fadayeen is Hamas, who like their Egyptian father now currently controls the Gaza Strip. Hamas presently receives most of its weapons for the purpose of Islamic Jihad terrorism from the tunnels coming from Egypt.
.
Because of their close proximity to the Jewish covenant people, and because they reside within the very borders of the covenant land (like a violent virus taking up host within the body in order to destroy the body) Hamas is the most evil-violent natured people (given their biblical prophesy) of all the peoples of the earth, including those within Al-Queda and the Taliban!
.
Not one single nation in the West has ever or will ever be supportive, or call for support for Al-Queda or the Taliban. That would be going against the West's very nature as a civilization. Yet recently the prime minister of superpower Russia Vladimir Putin and Quartet Representative Tony Blair (representing the West and all world power) has called for the West to recognize Joel 3:19's "Hamas"! This is in addition to former US president Jimmy Carter who has actually called for Hamas to be taken off the Western US and UK official list of state sponsored terrorism! [see top cartoon] Why is it that the West can be so vehemently against what it views as "Islamic extremism" in places in Afghanistan, Pakistan, Iran, and Iraq, that they involve themselves - even militarily, but are just the opposite and become very passive when "Islamic extremism" involves Palestinian terrorist groups such as Islamic Jihad, Al-Fatah, of course Hamas? Is there a spiritual understanding of this insanity? Of course there is. Just before the first world destruction by the flood, the Bible informs us of the following:
"The earth also was corrupt before God, and the earth was filled with HAMAS." - Genesis 6:11
.
By the world powers making a covenant (adopting) Hamas as their beloved partner of so-called peace - committing themselves against the everlasting covenant the God of Israel made with the Jewish people, Hamas' evil becomes the world's evil, literally and spiritually "filling the earth with Hamas / violence"! Hamas becoming the world's focus point of terrorist-favoritism and its advancement of evil-violence that at its source is literally against God of the covenant, will in turn bring forth the fulfillment of prophecy that all (UN-Quartet) nations shall fight against the Jewish King David's capital and Judaism's spiritual center - Jerusalem.
"For I will gather all nations against Jerusalem to battle....Then shall Jehovah go forth, and fight against those nations, as when He fought in the day of battle." - Zachariah 14:2-3
.
According to Joel 3:19 the God of Israel will make Egypt (Islam) and Edom (Roman-based Christianity) very desolate. After the God of Israel has wiped violence (Hamas) from the earth and literally obliterated every article of Hamas' 1988 covenant and Hamas' worse nightmare of the fulfillment of Ezekiel 37: 25-28 has become reality3 it is then that the nations whose focus point and spiritual commitment had been towards favoring Hamas-violence, then becomes converted towards the God of Israel. As the Hebrew Bible foretells the End of Days:
"And many nations shall come, and say, Come, and let us go up to the mountain of Jehovah, and to the house of the God of Jacob; and He will teach us of His ways, and we will walk in His paths: for the Torah shall go forth of Zion, and the word of Jehovah from Jerusalem." - Micah 4:2
"Yea, many people and strong nations shall come to seek Jehovah of hosts in Jerusalem, and to pray before Jehovah. Thus saith Jehovah of hosts; In those days it shall come to pass, that ten men shall take hold out of all languages of the nations, even shall take hold of the skirt of him that is a Jew, saying, We will go with you: for we have heard that God is with you." - Zachariah 8:22-23
"And it shall come to pass, that every one that is left of all the nations which came against Jerusalem shall even go up from year to year to worship the King, Jehovah of hosts, and to keep the feast of tabernacles." - Zachariah 14:16

Notes:
1. The Hebrew word used in Song of Songs 5:16 is "machamad" meaning "desirable or precious things" and it's only used in the Hebrew Bible in plural form. It's from this Semitic language root-word that Mohammad was named by his polytheistic father Abdallah. This is what one would call "painting into the text" not a "proof text"!
2. See Hamas Covenant 1988 - Article 2 > http://avalon.law.yale.edu/20th_century/hamas.asp
Notice also, that according to the God of Israel, Israel's enemies are defined as originating from outside the land of the covenant. Since Gaza is within the land of the covenant, Gaza is not mentioned as the source of the Hamas / violence.
3. "And they shall dwell in the land that I have given unto Jacob my servant, wherein your fathers have dwelt; and they shall dwell therein, even they, and their children, and their children's children for ever: and my servant David shall be their prince for ever. Moreover I will make a covenant of peace with them; it shall be an everlasting covenant with them: and I will place them, and multiply them, and will set my sanctuary in the midst of them for evermore. My tabernacle also shall be with them: yea, I will be their God, and they shall be my people. And the heathen shall know that I Jehovah do sanctify Israel, when my sanctuary shall be in the midst of them for evermore." - Ezekiel 37:25-28

hello. your blog is very informative and interesting. I am a Christian and called to be a sounding horn to herald warnings to Christians who are confused with such false teachers who believe we serve the same God as Muslims do. I am certain you have heard of this false religion, "Chrislam." I would appreciate any information you may have on this subject. I will frequently check the site for a reply. Thank You.

"Hamas Never Wanted Peace with Israel" by Michael L. Brown
on October 13, 2023 this article states

"In the midst of the horrors of the last week, it’s important to remember that Hamas has never wanted peace with Israel.

Instead, the express goal of Hamas since its inception was the destruction of Israel. As stated in its first charter, published in 1988, “Israel will exist and will continue to exist until Islam will obliterate it, just as it obliterated others before it.” It was – and is – the mission of Hamas to obliterate Israel, not make peace with Israel.

As noted in an October 10 article in The Atlantic, “A close read of Hamas’s founding documents clearly shows its intentions.” Accordingly, the headline was titled, “Understanding Hamas’s Genocidal Ideology.”

Genocidal indeed. As even NPR acknowledges,

“The group has vowed to annihilate Israel and has been responsible for many suicide bombings and other deadly attacks on civilians and Israeli soldiers.”

And, just as Isis was a religion-based murder cult, the same holds true for Hamas.

Both groups do what they do in the name of Allah, slaughtering the innocent in the cruelest, most demonic ways while shouting, “Allah Akbar.” (Raping women can also be done in Allah’s name in their demented form of faith.)

That’s why you don’t make peace with the likes of Isis or Hamas. You thwart them.

Put another way, people who proclaim, “We love death more than you love life” are not ready to sit down at the table and reason together.

As Robert Spencer said with reference to Isis,

“‘We love death more than you love life.' This is civilization's ultimate challenge. Will the lovers of death and destruction overwhelm and defeat those who love life and have created great civilizations that celebrate human creativity and achievement? Will all that is left of three thousand years of human civilization be reduced to rubble and a mindless religio-ideological lockstep?

“The Islamic State is not just a challenge to Judeo-Christian Western civilization. It is a challenge to civilization itself--to the very idea of civilization.

“And that is why it is doomed to fail. Life will always conquer death in the end. The human spirit will always prevail against the forces that would subjugate and enslave it.”

Bear in mind that Hamas, an acronym for Harakat al-Muqawama al-Islamiya (“Islamic Resistance Movement”) was founded as a more religiously based front for resisting Israel. (As a point of clarification, the Arabic word hamas means “zeal” and is very close to the Hebrew word hamas meaning “violence.” But they are two distinct words, with similar, not identical pronunciations.)

the article continues
"As noted on the Brittanica.com website,

“Founded in 1987, Hamas opposed the secular approach of the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and rejected attempts to cede any part of Palestine.”

And while Hamas engaged in various acts of civil welfare for the people of Gaza, helping the populace in practical ways, it is the military wing of the organization that has made its lasting, deadly mark.

It is also the military side of Hamas that absorbs the countless tens of millions of dollars that pour into its coffers from international aid that was intended for humanitarian use. Instead, it is used to build bombs and terror tunnels and the like.

So much for being “for the people.”

As far as the religious ideology of Hamas, understand that for a committed Muslim, the world is divided into two segments, Dar al-Islam, the territory of Islam, and Dar al-Harb, the territory of war. The former refers to those countries and lands that have been subjected to Islam (remember that “Islam” means “submission,” not “peace”). The latter refers to the rest of the world that has not yet come under the sway of Islam.

And what happens to land that was once under Muslim control but that then breaks free, such as Spain after the Moorish Conquest? This becomes an open wound, a recurring taunt and insult. How much more, then, when the evil Jews now control Jerusalem, considered the third holiest site in Islam, not to mention the rest of former Palestine? Israel must be driven out!

As stated in Article 12 of the original charter,

“Nothing in nationalism is more significant or deeper than in the case when an enemy should tread Moslem land.”

And so, when you hear that catchy chant, “From the River to the Sea, Palestine must be free,” it’s important that you understand what it actually means: “No more Jews in the Land! No more Israel!”

Is that clear enough?

That’s why the original Hamas charter quoted the famous, authoritative Islamic tradition (hadith) that stated,

“The Day of Judgment will not come about until Muslims fight Jews and kill them. Then, the Jews will hide behind rocks and trees, and the rocks and trees will cry out: ‘O Moslem, there is a Jew hiding behind me, come and kill him.’”

As for the revised charter published in 2017, one that toned down some of the language, the goals remained the same. To quote some relevant lines: “Palestine is a land that was seized by a racist, anti-human and colonial Zionist project that was founded on a false promise (the Balfour Declaration).” (Yes, this is the “softened” version.)

“Yet, it is the Zionists who constantly identify Judaism and the Jews with their own colonial project and illegal entity.” That’s why Zionism “must disappear from Palestine.”

As for the “armed resistance,” that must continue: “Resisting the occupation with all means and methods is a legitimate right guaranteed by divine laws and by international norms and laws. At the heart of these lies armed resistance, which is regarded as the strategic choice for protecting the principles and the rights of the Palestinian people.”

We now know, more clearly, than ever, what this “armed resistance” looks like and what the true spirit of Hamas really is. (This has been clear for decades; some are finally waking up to reality today.)

From a Christian point of view, we recognize that even Hamas terrorists are created in the image of God and can be redeemed and transformed through the cross (although those guilty of murderous crimes must still pay for their deeds in this world).

I have actually met several former Islamic terrorists who are followers of Jesus today.

Not only are they transformed people, but they are also lovers of Israel. Talk about a heart change!

As for any hopes of peace without radical conversion, there is the humanitarian hope, as expressed by Golda Meir, “Peace will come when the Arabs will love their children more than they hate us.”

May God hasten the day."

"‘Hamas’ is in the Bible - and the terrorist group lives up to the name"
By Jeremiah J. Johnston – Special to Higher Ground - - Wednesday, October 18, 2023 this article says

"Many are asking if Hamas is in the Bible. Is this an omen or sign? Some even suggest futuristic consequences or prophetic signs and wonders related to Hamas and the modern Israel nation. Well, yes, Hamas is in the Bible, but perhaps not in the way you may expect. Also, let’s hope history repeats itself and Hamas is ended.

“Hamas,” the Arabic terrorist group acronym moniker of Harakat al-Muqawama al-Islamiya (Islamic Resistance Movement), is also a chilling homophone in the Bible: violence.

Subscribe to have The Washington Times’ Higher Ground delivered to your inbox every Sunday.

Genesis 6:11 says, “Now the earth was corrupt in God’s sight, and the earth was filled with violence [Hamas: lit. חָמָס (ḥāmās)].”

The Hebrew word ḥāmās is a noun meaning an act of aggression, but especially involving physical contact. Hamas was founded in 1987; however, the biblical word “ḥāmās” or “violence” reaches back to the earliest chapters of Genesis and is one of the significant reasons for the flood.

And Hamas terrorism is certainly delivering on their name. Let us pray God sends the same judgment as he did in Genesis 6 to rid the world of this evil. No quarter should be given to an extremist movement celebrating child execution, preteen wives, destruction of antiquities, crimes against humanity, genocide, terror-tweeting, torture, social media radicalization, amputations, and slavery all in the “name of Allah.”

In the days of Noah, God saw the earth was filled with violence (ḥāmās), so he sent a flood, “for the earth is filled with violence (ḥāmās) through them. Behold, I will destroy them with the earth” (Genesis 6:13).

Hamas, used as both a noun and verb, appear 67 times in the Bible. More specifically, the word ḥāmās in the Old Testament is used almost always in connection with sinful violence. It does not refer to the violence of natural catastrophes. It is often a descriptor for extreme wickedness.

Members of Hamas want to annihilate Israel. In view of what the Bible says about ḥāmās, their end is sure. They will be destroyed. In response, let us pray the prayer of David: “He is the God who avenges me, who subdues nations under me, who saves me from my enemies. You exalted me above my foes; from [ḥāmās] violent men you rescued me” (Psalm 18:47–48).
Ḥamas in Hebrew, Aramaic, and Arabic

While the terrorist organization’s name is actually an acronym, it is well chosen and the group is living up to the ancient meaning of its name — violence and wrong.

This real Arabic word, meaning “zeal,” meant much more a long time ago. It derives from the same root as the Hebrew and Aramaic word ḥāmās, which means “violence” or “wrong.” The tragic irony is that the terrorist organization of today is living up to the original meaning of the organization’s name.

The Hebrew verb is חָמַס ḥāmas, meaning “to do violence,” “to wrong;” the noun is חָמָס ḥāmās, meaning “violence,” or “wrong.” In the Hebrew Bible the verb occurs seven times, e.g., “her priests have done violence [חָמְסוּ] to my law” (Ezekiel 22:26). In the Hebrew Bible the noun occurs more than 50 times, e.g., “the earth was filled with violence [חָמָס]” (Genesis 6:11, 13 and F. Brown, with S. R. Driver and C. A. Briggs, “A Hebrew and English Lexicon of the Old Testament” BDB 329)."

Anonymous said...

The article continues
"In later rabbinic literature the noun חָמָס ḥāmās can also mean “extortion” and the verb “to seize violently.” (M. Jastrow, “A Dictionary of the Targumim, the Talmud Babli and Yerushalmi, and the Midrashic Literature,” 2 vols. (London: Putnam, 1895–1903) 1:478).

The Aramaic has the same word, only spelled slightly differently: חֲמַס ḥămas. It means the same as the Hebrew. (M. Sokoloff, “A Dictionary of Jewish Palestinian Aramaic of the Byzantine Period” (Ramat-Gan: Bar Ilan University, 1990) 206; Jastrow, 1:478.)

The Arabic verb is cognate to the older Hebrew and Aramaic. The Arabic حماس ḥamās usually means “to be hard,” “strict,” or “rigorous.” See BDB 329. In contemporary Arabic the noun is understood to mean “zeal” or “strength,” but its orignal meaning of “violence” remains. The important point is that the word itself – both noun and verb – is cognate to the Hebrew and Aramaic word. The Arabic ḥamās is from the same root."

"The Meaning of Hamas and My Son’s Bar Mitzvah"
by Rabbi Nechemia Coopersmith
October 19, 2023 This article says

"It’s no accident that the word “hamas” in Hebrew means violence and murder.

It’s a rather surreal time, especially in Israel where I am fortunate to live, to be celebrating a joyous occasion. Yet that’s what our family is about to do, as our youngest son becomes a bar mitzvah this Shabbat, and an older son gets married in two weeks.

It’s no coincidence that my son Noach, who is named after Rabbi Noach Weinberg, of blessed memory, the illustrious dean and founder of Aish HaTorah, is turning 13 this Shabbat when we read the Torah portion called “Noach.”

At the beginning of the portion the verse says, “And the earth became corrupt before God and was full of hamas” (Genesis, 6:11). In Hebrew, what does the word “hamas” mean? The Midrash, the ancient rabbinic commentary on the Bible, says that hamas means violence and murder, complete moral destruction (Breishit Rabba 31:6).

Hamas, the terrorist organization, is living up to its despicable name – at least according to its Hebrew meaning. In Arabic, in addition to being an acronym for Harakat al-Muqawamah al-Islamiyya – The Islamic Resistance Movement, the word means “zeal,” “bravery” or “strength.”

If God forbid you had to be in Auschwitz, who would you rather be: a Nazi guard or an inmate?

Our weekly email is chockful of interesting and relevant insights into Jewish history, food, philosophy, current events, holidays and more...

Not only do these terrorists commit barbaric acts of evil, they distort and pervert them as acts of bravery, creating moral confusion and corruption."

the article continues
"This Shabbat I will repeat to my son a question Rabbi Noach Weinberg, his namesake, often asked his students. If God forbid you had to be in Auschwitz, who would you rather be: a Nazi guard or an inmate?

Unfortunately, today we can rephrase the question: If God forbid you had to be in southern Israel two weeks ago, who would you rather be: a Hamas terrorist or one of the civilians who was murdered?

It’s a horrific question, but Rav Noach was making an important point, one that I want my son to digest as he becomes a bar mitzvah. There are forces of good and evil in the world. Don’t confuse the two. Don’t minimize the sheer destructive power of evil that was unleashed two weeks ago before the eyes of the world, who are already attempting to push it away, shift blame, and distort the picture.

Noach, you are engaged in a moral battle between good and evil. Dedicating your life to being good is so important it’s even worth willing to die for it. You would rather die as a good Jew in Auschwitz than survive as an evil Nazi because being good is more important than life itself. It’s choosing eternity.

The Torah gives us moral clarity. Without it, one could pervert the hamas of violence and murder and dress it up as the hamas of zeal and bravery. In a world filled with a flood of moral confusion, the Torah is our ark, our refuge. It’s what protects us.

Noach, in addition to being called up to the Torah and getting an aliyah, you are being called up to the army and deployed to serve God in the battle of good versus evil. Now that you are a young man obligated to observe the mitzvot, you are joining the ranks and need to do your part, with dedication and motivation, fueled with the realization that every mitzvah you do makes a genuine difference in bringing God’s light the forces of good into the world. Ima and I are so very proud of you, and look forward to seeing your unique contribution you will bring to the ranks of the Jewish People.

In Israel this week, President Biden said that Hamas unleashed “pure unadulterated evil upon the world. There is no rationalizing it, no excusing it. Period. The brutality we saw would have cut deep anywhere in the world, but it cuts deeper here in Israel.

October 7th…became the deadliest day for the Jewish people since the Holocaust… The world watched then, it knew, and the world did nothing. We will not stand by and do nothing again. Not today, not tomorrow, not ever.”

How fitting it is that in Spanish the word “hamas” has an entirely different meaning. It means: “never again.”

"Do Muslim lives matter when killed by Muslims?"
By ALAN M. DERSHOWITZ this article says

"When was the last time you saw on TV or in the newspapers a picture of a dead Muslim baby who had been killed by a Muslim? The media simply doesn’t show dead Muslim babies killed by Muslims. Is that because there are so few? No! The number of Muslim babies, women and other civilians killed by fellow Muslims is many times greater than the number of Muslims killed by Israel. But every Muslim whose death can be blamed — either rightly or wrongly — on Israel is displayed by Hamas to the willing media to broadcast these images around the world.

The only exception of which I am aware was when Hamas falsely blamed Israel for the bombing of a parking lot adjacent to a Gaza hospital. The media showed dead Palestinian babies and blamed their deaths on Israel. When it became clear that a misfired Islamic Jihad rocket was to blame, much of the media lost interest — except some Arab media that continued to blame Israel.

We really have no idea how many Muslims have been killed by Israel in Gaza. The Hamas-controlled health bureaucracy issues questionable numbers that don’t even purport to distinguish between civilians and combatants. Hypothetically, a majority of the 22,000 allegedly killed Palestinians may have been terrorists.

Hamas does list “children” separately, but does not list their ages. We know however that Hamas considers any person under the age of 19 to be a “child,” even though it actively recruits “children” above the age of 12 or 13 to become terrorists. So at least some of the “children” who have been killed were active combatants, not civilians.

The same is true of women. Hamas always identifies the dead by gender, as if to suggest that a 25-year-old woman firing a rocket or becoming a suicide bomber must be counted as a civilian."

Anonymous said...

The nydailynews.com article continues
"Now compare the distorted and incomplete Hamas figures to what is known about Muslims who have been killed by Muslims in recent conflicts.

In Yemen alone some 350,000 deaths have occurred during the civil war started by Iranian proxies. Many of them have been civilians, including almost certainly thousands of babies. But you’ve never seen any pictures of bleeding Yemeni babies killed by other Yemenites, even though the war has been covered by many media outlets.

The same is true in Darfur where figures range upward of 10,000 dead and many more injured.

In addition, as many as 600,000 people have been killed in Syria, including many Palestinian babies and women. Again, no pictures.

If one goes back several decades to what has come to be known as Black September, the Jordanian army killed thousands of Palestinians including many civilians. But their 1970 deaths went largely un-photographed.

Today’s media has been feasting on pictures of bleeding and dead Palestinian babies, killed and wounded in Gaza. They report Hamas-generated figures without indicating what the comparable figures were when Muslims have been killed and wounded by Muslims in neighboring areas. Statistical comparisons are not as evocative as graphic pictures. But pictures without explanation hide the truth. If it bleeds it leads, but if it leads it often distorts reality.

Does a dead Muslim baby matter less if she was killed by a Muslim than by a Jew? Of course not, except to those who would use the deaths of innocent babies as propaganda tools against Israel.

Without making any comparisons, the media also applies a double standard when it comes to the deaths of African-Americans in the United States. When George Floyd — a single Black man with a long history of criminality — was brutally killed by a white policeman, that murder became one of the most important stories of the 21st century. It resulted in a racial “reckoning”, that included major changes in American universities, corporations, and the media itself.

Floyd’s life and death mattered, as it should have. But what about the thousands of Black children who are killed every year by Black gang members. Why do their lives seem to matter less to the media — and even to some Black leaders — than the lives of Floyd and the relatively small number of African-Americans who are killed every year by white police?

It has become a micro-aggression on some quarters to say that “all lives matter,” but no one should be faulted for saying that all Black lives matter, regardless of whether they are taken by the actions of white police or Black gang members.

The same is true of Muslim lives: a Muslim life is no more valuable if taken by an Israeli rocket than by a Muslim rocket. But the media doesn’t see it that way."

Dershowitz’s latest book is “War Against the Jews: How to End Hamas Barbarism.”

Former Miss Iraq pays sympathy visit to site of Hamas slaughter
By bataween on 7 January 2024

United States congressional candidate and former Miss Iraq Sarah Idan has visited Kibbutz Kfar Aza, one of the Israeli communities ravaged by Hamas terrorists on 7 October 2023. Report in JNS News (with thanks: Edna):

Sarah Idan (left), former Miss Iraq, on a visit to the site of Kfar Aza, one of the sites ravaged by Hamas terrorists on 7 October
“I visited Kfar Aza, a place where the heart-wrenching horror of Hamas’s infiltration led to a massacre of innocent Israeli families right in their homes,” tweeted Idan, a Democrat running to represent California’s 30th congressional district in place of Adam Schiff, who is vying to enter the U.S. Senate in 2024.

“Located just a mile from Gaza, we stood witness as the Iron Dome intercepted rockets launched by Hamas. I brought my old uniform from Iraq to be mentally prepared, but I was still shocked and at a loss for words. Never in my life, not even amidst the terror of ISIS, have I seen such barbarity. What was once a vibrant community now echoes with a haunting silence of tragedy,” she continued.

By “uniform,” Idan means the camouflage pants, T-shirt reading “Fight Back” and combat boots that she wore as a translator for U.S.-led coalition forces in Iraq.

“I don’t care what’s your religion if your God permits you to do this in his name then your God is wrong. My mind is still traumatized by the scene, the smell of the dead bodies. Shame on those pretending the massacre didn’t happen,” she tweeted.

More than a hundred civilians were murdered and others were kidnapped from Kfar Aza when 3,000 heavily armed Hamas terrorists forced their way across the border and rampaged across the northwestern Negev, murdering around 1,200 persons in total, mostly civilians, wounding thousands more and taking some 240 hostages back to Gaza.

Idan and her family were forced to flee Iraq after she posed for a selfie with Miss Israel Adar Gandelsman at the Miss Universe pageant in Las Vegas in 2017 and wearing a bikini in a swimsuit competition.

Her Iraqi citizenship revoked, Idan immigrated to the United States in 2017.

On May 19, she filed her candidacy for the California seat, which includes the cities of Burbank and West Hollywood, and parts of Glendale and Pasadena"

Answer: Alcohol. Hamas has been running smuggling operations within Gaza for many years via tunnels. Items like weapons, electronic goods, designer clothing (knock off and authentic), adult entertainment items but the most popular item that resulted in most profit is alcohol

For those of you who answer: goat, inflatable sex doll (of a goat) or dildo, then I'm sure it goes hand in hand with their closet drinking habit 😉"

Second, that’s 74,000 pounds (33,000 kg) of silver or 850 pounds (390 kg) of gold. That’s not fitting in some soldiers pockets. And lastly, valuables and currency are the first thing people take when they evacuate. But a lie doesn’t have to make sense, it just has to sound plausible."

If battling against terrorism causes my country to lose some prestige on the international stage, I am OK with that. If opposing the kidnapping and slaughter of little children costs my country PR points with totalitarian regimes, I can live with that. If my president promotes efforts to eliminate a ruling structure that puts civilians in harm's way by placing military installations in hospitals and schools, against all international laws of engagement, I will applaud him. If US federal funding goes toward vanquishing one of the most brutal "governments" on the planet, I will pay my taxes with a smile. If all those things happen I am not worried about the cost to our image.

A person typed online earlier today. "From Gav Kostonov

How war works.

Wars are fought and won by the metric of very simple math. The math is harsh, but anyone can follow it.

Victory is achieved when your enemy is so broken that they realize that they cannot sustain further losses. If they surrender unconditionally, you've won. If you unilaterally declare victory, vacate the battlefield while leaving your enemy intact with the ability to regroup, they've won. They waited you out while getting you to expend massive resources. Any losses you've sustained have been for naught.

Short version: Way more of them have to die and more of their stuff has to be destroyed for you to win. There is nothing "proportional" about war whether it's fighting them or winning them. The entire point is for the other guy to take more hits than you. Fairness doesn't come into play."

"How exactly does Hamas get the money for their INSANE terror operations?

In 1987, amid the first bloody intifada, a new terror organization was born in Gaza: Hamas.

Hamas runs its terrorism and the Gaza Strip on a budget of $3 BILLION a year!!

Terror organizations are also economic cartels. Without cash flow, Hamas can't attain weapons, training, tunnels, salaries, terror attacks or pay families of martyrs..

Where is all the funding coming from??

1. Iran
The Islamic Republic of Iran provides their proxy Hamas equipment, weapons, training, and up to $350 million a year.

2. Qatar
The largest sum of overseas money is from Qatar a banking center for Iran. They funnel $360 million a year to Hamas.

3. UNRWA
UNRWA's annual budget is $1.5 billion, and $325 million goes to Gaza (Now defunded by many).

4. The Palestinian Authority
One of the top providers, the PA gives Hamas up to $1.2 billion a year.

5. Taxes
Hamas charges taxes from Gazan residents - even the poor.. They collect $350 - $400 million a year. Israel provides water and electricity for free to Gaza but Hamas charges their residents for those services.

6. Charities
Several charities throughout the world raise about $100 million a year for Gaza. Many are unaware they're actually paying for terror activities.

7. Business Endeavors
Hamas owns several businesses in countries friendly to its causes, earning $2.5 billion a year.

How does Hamas get away with this all?

Since many classify Hamas as a terror organization, very harsh sanctions are imposed on them

But overseas money still reaches Hamas, through corrupt banks, money-exchange networks, shady money laundering, and cryptocurrency.

They prepared for the war they started on Oct 7 EXTREMELY well, with a huge underground tunnel city, resources, and tons of weapons.

Hamas's billions of dollars and their proxy master the Islamic Republic of Iran don't help the Gazan civilians' lives.
On the contrary - they make them worse and silence ANY opposition."

85 expensive powerful precision long range missiles. Only 15 enemy killed. None of them Iranian.
The US strategy was to give the enemy seven days to enable senior Iranian commanders to get out of the way to reduce the enemy loss of command.
Talk about a humanitarian bombing mission.
What a pussy!
This Administration actually asked Hamas-funding Qatar to go to Iran to tell them that America doesn't want a war with them.
They should award Biden the first Nobel Peace Prize for Bombing.

"Proportionality??? You must be kidding. How can any civilized nation respond to the murder of babies, slaughter of innocent civilians at a concert and the rape and murder of women with proportion?? Answer: you don’t. War is not a game with neat sets of rules, believe it or not. Your job if attacked is to pound the enemy down so hard they never dare get up again. Are there indeed any civilians in Palestine? The members of hamas CAME from this pool of barbarians. They ELECTED them to lead their country. What does that tell you about them? Its indeed unfortunate but not unexpected that the media has become the lap dogs of the terrorists and that Biden is getting increasingly pressured by his left wing party members, which is MOST of them. Its only a matter of time until they force Israel to quit with the job half-done. Again. I cant respect the so-called free press who have sided with these neanderthals, nor the uniformed and totally ignorant college students who assert the violent , unprovoked attack by hamas and the kidnappings “never happened”.Both amazing and frightening that we have such a large part of the country devoid of both information and education. They are in fact perfect little puppets.I hope the Jews will not be lulled into allowing the hamas group to re-gain the upper hand during the current pause in hostilities in their quest to rescue more hostages, many of whom might already be dead. Meanwhile I hope they can bring home as many hostages as possible, and continue to eliminate their enemy."

You do not negotiate with a cancer. You do not try to work with a cancer to limit its growth. You destroy it so it cannot grow again and kill the body it inhabits.

Had the Allies in World War II stopped in 1942 to negotiate with the NAZI’s is anyone stupid enough to believe that would have stopped the Nazis or convinced them to end war as a tactic?

Hamas, and the Muslim Brotherhood and the Iranian leadership are the NAZIs, are the cancer on the body of the world.

You do not negotiate with cancer. You do not, make control of its growth as a goal. Not if you want to survive.

Think of it this way. If Hamas, the Muslim Brotherhood, and the Iranian Mullahs would disappear from the face of the world, everyone in the region would breathe a sigh of relief.

Is it that those in Washington and Brussels are too stupid to understand that? I don’t think it is that."
