The Hebrew Bible and Israel's End-Time Prophecy

There are many who claim that the Bible is the heaven breathed word of God, including most US politicians. Of the last few presidents George W. Bush and Jimmy Carter have expressed their Christian faith quite candidly.

Their faith is based upon a book that contains two bibles (two covenants) that two great monotheistic religions call their Bible. The Christian religion must include the Hebrew Bible (the Christian dubbed "Old Testament") for support of their faith. For without this Hebrew Bible support the Christian Bible (the New Testament) has no foundation.

However, the Hebrew Bible was not written for the Gentiles as was the Christian Bible (Rom. 15:16). I like to point out every chance I get that the Hebrew Bible was written in Hebrew by the Hebrew prophets and their message is to the Hebrew people and not unto the Gentile nations. The core essence of the Hebrew Bible consists of :
  1. YHVH the God of Israel.
  2. The Hebrew people themselves.
  3. The Torah of Moses.
These three core elements that make up the Hebrew Bible are directly and exclusively to the Hebrew people which includes:
  1. The everlasting covenant between God and the Hebrew people
  2. All the physical land of Israel.
  3. The prophesies of the Hebrew people for the age to come.
The context of these things are very clear and unless the Gentiles join in with how the heaven-breathed context to the Hebrew people is written (and not by making up a wishful version for themselves) they are simply out of the loop!

So when presidents like the roadmap-planner George W. Bush and the Hamas-supporting Jimmy Carter gives lip-service of their beliefs toward the Bible they are doing so without a spiritual backbone to act politically towards its primary goals and principles. These men believe and act politically according to some Gentile-chosen version of the Hebrew Bible while disregarding its true context and prophecy. So what does the Hebrew Bible really say about the Hebrew people and the Gentile world?

The Hebrew Bible gives a detailed account of Israel's beginnings and a thousand years worth of biblical history. It also gives us prophecy concerning Israel's punishments and glorious redemption. The Torah (the five books of Moses and spiritual foundation of Israel) focuses mostly on the Law of Moses that instructs the Israelite nation how to walk with their God of Israel in their every generation (Deut.7:9 / Deut. 28:14-15).

Within the Torah are prophecies that foretell with pinpoint accuracy the two most devastating events in Jewish history that led to their long exile. The 28th chapter of Deuteronomy reads like a Jewish history book pertaining to the events of 586 BCE and 70 CE (see wikipedia.org -Tisha B'Av). It has been suggested that Moses even used the Roman symbol of an eagle when foretelling of Israel’s bleakest hour with the Romans in 70 CE (Deut. 28:49). One thing that is for sure is that the Gentile nation’s ill treatment of the Jews, namely the banishment that stretched all over Eastern and Western Europe, was clearly spoken of in the ancient writing of Deuteronomy 28:64-65 and has remained ever so true even until this present day:
.
And YHVH shall scatter you among all people, from the one end of the earth even to the other, and you shall serve other gods there, which neither you nor your fathers have known, wood and stone. And among these nations you shall find no ease, neither shall the sole of your foot have rest. But YHVH shall give you there a trembling heart and failing of eyes and sorrow of mind.

Seventh century Arabia, 1492 Spain, 1933-1945 Europe, and twentieth century Russian pogroms, are just a small few among many Jewish episodes of banishment down through the ages that have Moses’ words, written all over them.“And among these nations you shall find no ease, neither shall the sole of your foot have rest.”

The high conversion rate among Jews into Christianity and Islam are considered by the Jewish sages as part of the above Mosaic prophecy. The foreign gods represented by "wood and stone" "of whom the Jewish fathers did not know" are quite obvious: The Trinity's wooden cross of Christianity under of which shadow thousands upon thousands of Jews were burnt in the Middle Ages alone, and the venerated "Allah" Kabba black stone in Mecca that is symbolically linked to millions of Jewish deaths by the Koran-following Muslims.

Apparently Moses when mentioning wood in this prophecy, wasn’t impressed by the veil that the inquisitionors placed over the statue of Jesus on the cross so he wouldn’t have to see the poor Jew being tortured or burnt at the sake. This was a time when many Jewish "conversos" (including the Inquisitor-General of Spain - Tomas de Torquemada) turned on their own people.

The Torah placed two paths before the nation of Israel. Included, was a prophecy for each path that has followed Israel down through the ages, even unto this very day:
"Know therefore that YHVH thy God, He is God, the faithful God, which keepeth covenant and mercy with them that love Him and keep His commandments to a thousand generations;
And repayeth them that hate Him to their face, to destroy them: He will not be slack to him that hateth Him, He will repay him to his face." - Deuteronomy 7:9-10
"I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live" -Deuteronomy 30:19

Have you ever noticed that the Replacement theologists in both the Christian and Islamic fields are real big on the biblical curses of Israel but go out of their way to totally reject the blessing part of returning to their God and their promised land? The Christian replacement theologists gladly receive God departing from physical Israel as an aid to their doctrine that is due to Israel's sin but then portray a "spiritualized Christian-Israel" when it comes to considering God's promise to restore Israel's spiritual condition.

Because the Torah is the foundation on which Israel is judged, it doesn't elaborate on the Messianic Age. The vision of the glorious Messianic Age was given to the Hebrew prophets during the time Moses' prophecy of judgment was upon Israel. Israel's sin brought on God's judgment that the Hebrew prophets also foretold. But from beyond the judgments the prophets also saw a glorious and righteous future for Israel (see Jer. 32:28-30 / Jer. 33:7-16).

The God of Israel allowed the Hebrew prophets to see His redeeming mercy that He would have upon His chosen people after His judgments have all been fulfilled. This is the whole concept of Biblical prophecy concerning Israel. Those who reject Israel as the chosen nation of God in modern times reject not only a huge portion and concept of the Hebrew Bible pertaining to Israel's redemption, but in doing do, they reject the entire Hebrew Bible itself! This is why some Christian sects of the Middle East study only the New Testament while their "Old Testament" is literally considered the "enemy's book". They don't want to read just what the God of Israel has to say about the final outcome of His chosen people!

During the Babylonian exile (a time when the first Jewish temple was destroyed) the prophet Ezekiel (himself numbered among the exiles) foresaw a new and glorious temple with all of its functions during the future Messianic Age. For all you preterist and Muslims out there who has yet to figure out that the God of Israel wins out in the end of fulfilled prophecy by having His redeemed and chosen people become all that He wanted them to be (Deut. 7:6 / Ish. 62:12) - understand that in no way shape, form, or fashion, is the "Ezekiel temple" (Ezekiel chapters 40-48) the same lesser "Second Temple" (see Haggai 2:3) that Herod (a gentile and murderer) extended during his reign of unrighteousness!

Herod's temple (the Second Temple) was built and stood during the seventy weeks 490 years of judgment (Jeremiah 25:11 compared with Leviticus 26:18) and was not built in glorious times as Ezekiel describes in his temple version, but was built during troubled times as Daniel describes in his temple version (Dan.9:25).

Biblical Prophecy Fact: The Ezekiel temple will never be destroyed but will stand forever (Ezk. 37:28) while the Second Temple was to be destroyed from the get-go (Dan. 9:26).

Israel's punishment of exile from the Land of Promise is promised to come to an end (Ezk.37:21)and Israel as a nation is to come into harmony with God (Ezk.37:23,24). In this, Israel will no longer be the nations' whipping boy as history and the Holocaust demonstrates, but will take her rightful place among the nations as the world's rabbi. As Israel's righteousness becomes forever restored the nations become spiritually taught and become spiritually blessed as a result (Gen. 12:3 / Ish.49:6).

The summary of Israel's end-time prophecy according to the heaven breathed Word of God goes something like this:

  • What are known today as "The Lost Ten Tribes of the House of Israel" will be united with the House of Judah (today's Jews) and will be gathered back into their ancient homeland. Heaven breathed sources: Ish. 11:12 / Jer. 31:30 / Jer 33:7,14 / Ezk. 37:16-22 / Zech. 8:13
  • While in her own homeland, Israel will be pardoned and cleansed from all her sins that brought about their long exile to begin with. Heaven breathed sources: Jer. 31:31-34 / Jer. 33:7,8 / Jer. 50:20 / Ezk. 36: 24-33 / Ezk. 37:21-23
  • From that time forward Israel will no longer sin as a nation as they did before, for they will be a holy and righteous nation before their God - the God of Israel. Heaven breathed sources: Ish. 59: 21 / Ish. 60:21 / Jer.31:33 / Jer.50: 20 /Ezk 37:24
  • During this time Israel's spiritual capital of Jerusalem will be known as the holiest city of the earth. Heaven breathed sources: Ish. 60:14 / Ish. 62: 6-12 / Jer. 33:16 / Zech 8:3 / Micah 4:2
  • The entire Gentile world will recognize Israel for her special "chosen" place and status with her God. Heaven breathed sources: Ish. 60:3 / Ish 61:9 / Jer. 16:19 / Ezk. 39:27 / Zech 8:23
  • "Holy Israel" will have a king to rule over her but not just any ordinary king. They will have an anointed-messiah king(s) to rule Israel who are from the very linage of David. This is in keeping God's promise to David (See II Samuel 7:8-16) . Heaven breathed sources: Jer. 33:15 / Ezk. 37: 25 / Hosea 3:5
  • As a final forever witness to the Gentile nations that Israel (His chosen) is their rabbi and that Jerusalem is the spiritual headquarters on earth, the Holy Third and Final Temple that the Hebrew prophet Ezekiel saw and prophesied of, is setup in Jerusalem and operates for the benefit of the nations. Heaven breathed sources: Ish 56:7 / Ezk. 37:26-28 / Ezk. chapters 40-48 /Amos 9:11-15 / Zech. 14:21
  • Because Israel will have become a holy nation again, the world system benefits greatly. Wars are no longer fought and even harmony among the animal kingdom will be restored as is was before the fall in the Garden of Eden. In this great harmony even the resurrection of the dead occurs that sin overtook. Heaven breathed sources: Ish. 2:4 / Ish. 11:6 / Ish. 65:17-25 / Micah 4:3 /Daniel 12:2,3

Notice that all these glorious promises are centered around the physical Hebrew people and the physical land of Israel! In order to spiritualize or apply these promises in some other way, one has to remove the original Hebrew context that they were originally written in! Again, these scriptures were written in the Hebrew language, by Hebrew prophets, directly to the Hebrew people, and not by some Gentile prophets to the Gentile people.

The message and content contained therein is Hebraic and Hebraic only! Any blessing to a Gentile individual or to a Gentile nation must come through the covenant that God of Israel has with Israel, and not by some Gentile-conceived concept that they may have towards the God of Israel. Therefore, if all these promises are indeed heaven breathed promises of which are directly linked to the Jewish people and are directly concerning the physical promised Land of Israel, the question then becomes, of which spiritual direction is the Quartet and evil men like George W. Bush, Jimmy Carter, and Tony Blair taking the Gentile world? Within their political path in leading the world powers, will there be spiritual blessings or spiritual curses?

And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed. - Genesis 12:3

The article was interesting, but contained many false assumptions. One, that when the scripture says the people would worship gods of wood and stone, there is an "assumption" it is speaking of the Christian cross and the muslim rock of Mecca. One O.T. prophet, speaking to the Hebrews condemned them for cutting a tree down, using part to cook with and fashioning the rest into a god to worship. That, most definitely was the gods of "wood" without using any abstract stretch to eqate it with the cross. Once again, the comments of the Jewish sages (who are not the divinely inspired prophets of the O.T. or N.T.), reflect their bigotry and their continued blindness.
Further, to equate the Cross of Christ with the muslim stone in Mecca, is as offensive to me as saying Judiasm and Nazism are equal philosophies, would be to a Jew.

The article mentions the persecution of the Jews via the Inquisition, various pograms, Hitler etc. All this is sadly true. But, I am guessing, the Romans killed far more Christians over a 200 year period, than Jews. The Inquisition killed and persecuted far more Christians, than it did Jews. Also, a fact needs pointed out, when the Christians suffered horrible persecutions, (and we have), almost without exception, it caused a glorious revival within the Christian groups being persecuted, it also caused the conversion of many of the persecutors. Where is the comparable effect among the Jews? I love them, I pray for them, but where is their "revival." Where is their influence for righteousness among the nations? I think of the Missionary successes of the Christians the last several hundred years, in China, in India, in Africa, radically changing lives for the better. Where is the Jewish missionary outreach?

To anonymous,
Does their "blindness" as you put it make it just a coincidence that the two icons of Moses' religion closest rivals just so happens to be icons of both wood and stone in correlation with Deut.28:64.65?
I'm sure that Jeremiah of his day when writing about the heathens Jer.10:3-4 wasn't talking about a modern "wooden" Christmas tree in day, or was he? Did Moses' curse have an ancient tmeline put on it? If not, just how are these "blinded" Jews worshiping false gods of wood and stone today? I don't see them on Eastern Island bowing down to the wooden god of Mak-Mak!

My blog didn't mention the actual "Cross of Christ" but the political movements behind the symbol that has indeed been used to kill millions of Jews. So are you offened if when I say the Crusader Cross, the Inquisition Cross, and the KKK Cross that is lit on fire in their worship are "evil" wooden crosses? If so, then that's too bad because they are!

You guessed wrong about the Romans! If you study the history of the first two CE centuries of Roman rule in Israel, you will find a Roman "finial solution" where millions of Jews were murdered. And of the Christians that were killed during that time, many of them were not killed as Christians but as Jews.

You will never see Jews knocking on your door, trying to convert you and get you to come and join their synagogue. The Hebrew scriptures leaves it up the individual to seek out their relationship with the one true God of Israel. The Hebrew Bible declares:

Also the sons of the stranger, that [JOIN THEMSELVES] to the LORD, to serve him, and to love the name of the LORD, to be his servants, every one that keepeth the sabbath from polluting it, and taketh hold of my covenant; Even them will I bring to my holy mountain, and make them joyful in my house of prayer: their burnt offerings and their sacrifices shall be accepted upon mine altar; for mine house shall be called an house of prayer for all people. - Isaiah 56:6,7

The way the Jews were to be a witness to the world was by keeping the commandments:

Behold, I have taught you statutes and judgments, even as the LORD my God commanded me, that ye should do so in the land whither ye go to possess it. Keep therefore and do them; for this is your wisdom and your understanding in the sight of the nations, which shall hear all these statutes, and say, Surely this great nation is a wise and understanding people. For what nation is there so great, who hath God so nigh unto them, as the LORD our God is in all things that we call upon him for? And what nation is there so great, that hath statutes and judgments so righteous as all this law, which I set before you this day? - Deuteronomy 4:5-8

Let all the nations be brought together, and let the people be gathered; who among them can declare this and make us hear former things? Let them bring out their witnesses, that they may be justified; or let them hear, and say, It is true. You are My witnesses, says the LORD, and My servant whom I have chosen; that you may know and believe Me, and understand that I am He. - Isaiah 43:9,10

Just keeping the commandments doesn’t seem like much of a witness through the eyes of Christianity, but consider the fact that throughout most of Christendom the Jews have been especially targeted for persecution. In other words, The Jewish witness of keeping the commandments was so strong among Christendom (especially during the Middle Ages) that it caused the Gentile Christians to not only reject the covenant God had with Israel, but to persecute this “witness people” more than any other people in history. They had to have known what the Jews were about (witnessing to them) in order to persecute them. I can only bet that the Jews wished that they weren’t so religiously noticed among the Gentiles nations! Adolph Eichmann who was responsible for the expulsion of Jews from Austria over to the ovens at Auschwitz was a student of Judaism and even studied Hebrew! If Judaism’s witness can bring out the evil of Eichmann’s soul, why couldn’t it bring out the righteous of a righteous soul?

Every time a Gentile reads any portion of the Hebrew scriptures, they are in fact reading part of the testimony of the everlasting covenant God has with Israel. Every time you see a plague of the Ten Commandments or hear a referral to them - that is a witness to the people that God has a divine covenant with the nation of Israel whether one chooses to believe that or not. It is interesting to note that the first two commandments of the Christian version are really a combination of the second commandment. The first statement is totally ignored by the Christian world. The beginning of the Ten Commandments is specifically directed to the nation of Israel and begins with the acknowledgement of Israel: And God spake all these words, saying, I am the LORD thy God, which have brought thee out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage. Thou shalt… - Exodus 20:1-3 Therefore, to the Jews, the Christian Ten Commandments are not “ten commandments” but “Aseret ha-Dibrot” meaning: The Ten Sayings - the ten saying of the Law of Moses that are solely directed to the nation of Israel, that Israel may be a witness of these commandments to the world! Personally, I think they have done a fair job.

I read quickly through this and intend to bookmark this and take my time to read it more closely later. As a born again Christian, I see the prophets words come alive every day. We are after all, the wild olive branches grafted onto G-ds olive tree. I use your symbol for g-d out of respect. Will read more and hope to converse with you more.

Bro. Ron,
Thank you for your comment. As you do read any of my meterial more closely know that I do believe that there are many Christians who truly love God and in doing so love Israel. The problem I have is with those who wish to do away with God's chosen via "Replacement Theology". This lying theological spirit within the Church works with demonic Islam as the "Khazar doctrine" demonstrates. This spiritual desire to do away with physical Israel is to me Nazism in the spiritual realm. My challenge to the reader in this article is to read the Hebrew Bible for exactly what it states concerning physical Israel with no deviations whatsoever. In doing so, whether Jew or Gentile one will be blessed! I look forward to hearing from you again. Feel free to leave a message by phone posted on my "Judaism-Now" blog site.
Thanks again,

Read "Nubian Gold" by Tarchon the Etruscan. It contains the answer to many of the Jewish myths, whys, hows and wheres. It even has a take on YHWH's prophecies! Conversely just visit TarchontheEtruscan.com web page.

To Andre,
I’m not really into atheist / anti-Semitic books and web-sites. It is very obvious the motive and goal behind the ideology of such a book. I see the same style and method of attack coming from sophisticated Holocaust deniers, or should I say “historical revisionist“? Give me a break! Since you apparently have read this book that you wish to advertised on my blog-site, you should have no trouble at all answering in great detail a few things about the Hebrew Bible.
Q. How did the writer of Deuteronomy know the horrible outcomes that was to befall the Jewish people when their future temples and capital city was to be destroyed in 586BCE and 70CE? Deuteronomy 28: 25,52,55.
Q. How did the writer of Deuteronomy know that the Jews for 3000 years would never find true rest (only true banishments) in all the countries outside their promised land? Deuteronomy 28:65
Q. How did the writer of Deuteronomy know that after such a disastrous expulsion from the land that there would be a great return, one that is evident today? Deuteronomy 30: 4
Q. How did the writer of Daniel know the Jewish temple events of 70 CE? Daniel 9:26-27?
Please explain in your own words Andre, the phenomenon of historical Jewish annihilation attempts that is spoken of in the Hebrew Bible in men like Pharaoh, Haman, who are comparable to modern men like Adolph Hitler? That's three millenniums apart far crying out loud!
Q. Why are today’s modern nations of the Middle-East in the same unity against Israel (as was demonstrated in the Six Day War) as they were when Psalms 83:3-5 was written?
Q. Why is Israel is the only nation in the world that is governing itself in the same territory, under the same name, and with the same religion and same language as it did 3,000 years ago? Exodus 6: 3 / Deuteronomy 4:35,39 - Seems like Psalms 105:7-11 know what its talking about doesn't it Andre?
Psalms 14:1 states very emphatically that it is a fool that believes in his heart that there is no God, (in your case God of the Hebrews). So now is your chance to prove the Hebrew Bible false by proving you’re not a fool. Give me proof Andre, what how there was no God before the Bib Bang when time, space and matter was created. Give me proof of how there is no intelligent design or a thought process behind such creatures like the Leafy Sea Dragon ( Phycodurus Eques) to look like botany life. Feel free to refer to another book that will give me these answers in great detail.

Your motive Andre is to prove that there is no God, so like all the other anti-Semites you attack His chosen in order to somehow escape His law. This only condemns your soul. There is a “God reason” for the purpose of this life, and its not some stupid conspiracy theory of “Tarchon the Etruscan” that has absolutely no meaning of life whatsoever. Make no mistake in whatever book you read, you will come to know the God of the Hebrews in one way or the other, whether it be in life or without any life. Regardless, He is still God!

Sorry to be late in replying. I was sure my comments would be deleted. "Nubian Gold" attempts to be the "real" history of the Jewish people and of their scriptures.

The conclusions are refreshing:

Actually Tarchon believes that the most oppressed people are the average, ordinary rank and file Jewish people. Victims of the erudite, overbearing Akhenaten priestly class and all the wealthy Jewish types they spawned who overlords over them with religious mumbo jumbo, the ingrained victimhood complex and don't mind feeding them to the gentile hordes from time to time.

It is easy to go on a pedestal and forget all the ancient civilizations that inspired the Hebrew Bible and its late Iron Age right there at the creation of heaven and earth by YHWH:

Why should people's expressions of their beliefs engraved in stone structures be less memorable than those done with words on paper? Why should writing be preferable to the plastic arts? Actually there is more honesty in a fallen stone from an ancient "pagan" temple than in all the mendacious pages of the Hebrew Bible.

Tarchon contends that Moses as a person never existed but instead is a composite stand-in for the renegade high priests of Akhenaten who made common cause with Abraham's rent-a-temp Judahites. Have no illusions, religion is a powerful tool for subjugating people. The Egyptians mastered it. The high priests could take on the pharaohs and win. Just ask Akhenaten, the first monotheist.

Tarchon does not believe in the hoax of "divine revelation religions" and that YHWH ever made a covenant with the Jews but that does not make him an atheist just a realist. He is therefore not angry at the Jews for having crucified Jesus. Since having to be sacrificed was Jesus’ purpose for being incarnated, it was a dirty job but someone had to do it! Both Osiris and Dionysus who predate Jesus by a millennium also underwent bodily death and rebirth but at least they were done in by other gods. The Jesus story should have had a much better script especially one that did not require the excess baggage of the Hebrew Bible.

Actually after Saul/Paul's adaptation of the Jewish messianic tradition into the birth, death and rebirth cycles of old, the genius of Christianity was in absorbing local deities and holy people in the panoply of "saints" worthy of worship thereby guaranteeing the success and acceptance.

To TheEtruscan:
I'm sorry, but all I'm seeing in your comment is a bunch of claims against the Hebrew Bible. I really couldn't care less whether Tarchon believes in divine revelations or not. To me, he is the hoax.

Since you wish to portray yourself as the educated atheist, I know your next comment will tell us about what was before time, space, and matter ever existed and just how and why the the Big Bang happened in the first place.

The truth is, you are a spiritual being whether you acknowledge it or not. Your very comments prove this because something "spiritual" within you is motivating you to express yourself against the Hebrew Bible.

The simple fact is, the Jews are the most persecuted people on the planet. There is a spiritual reason for this! It's been just 65 years since the Holocaust and the one and only nation Ahmadinejad wants to destroy is a nation no bigger than the state of New Jersey. Go figure when he has all his Sunni enemies around him.

Why do we have modern day Hamans who hates Israel first and foremost? Why do Israel's enemies say the exact same thing the ancient text of Psalms 83: 3-5 states? Maybe Tarchon can explain this?

Why is it that the Jewish people are the only people as a people that still survives from biblical times? Why are they the only people worshiping the same one God, speaking the same language, in the same land?

No Moses ever existed? Ok fine, but whoever did write the Torah knew thousands of years before, Israel would be expelled from the land of Israel and then return to that same land, regardless of what kind of dates you wish to set as to when the Torah was written!

If you wish to go the education route, I would encourage you to read some of Gerald Schroeder books instead of Tarchon.

Here is a short article you might find interesting> http://www.geraldschroeder.com/age.html

PS: you mentioned Osiris and Dionysus predated Jesus by a millennium. Can you give me a web-site where I might view some real, (and I do mean real, real) evidence of that. All I have seen that is absolute sure dates back to only 2 century CE.
Truly, thanks for visiting.

You got be kidding right?

Here is a link:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Osiris

Osiris (Greek language, also Usiris; the Egyptian language name is variously transliterated Asar, Aser, Ausar, Ausir, Wesir, or Ausare) was an Egyptian god.

Osiris is one of the oldest gods for whom records have been found; one of the oldest known attestations of his name is on the Palermo Stone of around 2500 BCE.

Also if you read "Nubian Gold" you will find out about the "Papyrus of Ani" also known as the Egyptian Book of the Dead and how "The Declarations to Rekhti-merti-f-ent-Ma'at and the 42 Negative Affirmations" preceed the Ten Commandments by miles.

Quotes from Nubian Gold:

If an alleged all-knowing and almighty god like YHWH makes a prophecy through some lesser proxy, what kind of a prophecy is it? A certainty?

In the Hebrew Bible, those who claim to have this gift (of prophecy, my note) are called the Prophets and what they say is called prophecies.
Which begs the question: if YHWH makes a prophecy and it eventually becomes true, what is the big deal? Why the wait? And if it doesn't come to pass, is YHWH a liar then? Isn't YHWH past, present and future? So a YHWH's prophecy is what? Past, present or future? Free will, prophecies and YHWH's omniscience (or lack of) don't square up.

End of quotes.

If you want an example of an ancient people who in spite of adversities stayed in place and are still there think of the Basques. The Jews an accident of history. LOL!

Digest this while I determine how to reply to your other concerns but not believing in "divine revelations" and especially in the Hebrew Bible does not make me an ATHEIST.

Joe Whitehead said...

To: TheEtruscan,
No, I'm not kidding when talking about the mergence of the composite name "Osiris-Dionysus" in 3rd. century CE.
Your link Wikipedia link said nothing about any archeological evidence linking the Christian faith to Osiris or Dionysus.

Your very obsession and your bible, "Nubian Gold" are evidences that the Hebrew Bible is true. There is something (I dare say evil) within you that endlessly seeks at all costs, to try and prove the Hebrew Bible false, while I for one, couldn't give a rat's (you know what) about Nubian Gold or its author.
To me, the author of Nubian Gold is not even on the radar screen among the notable antisemites, espeacially after reading some of his own stupid logic for disbelieving the Hebrew Bible and trying to get others to do so as well. Giving back his quote,It is "his book" that is for fools and not the Hebrew Bible that has stood the test of time over millennias for literally billions of people.

I noticed as I predicted that you didn't do any explaining on what was before the Big Bang and its very orgin. Please, take the time to do so on your next comment. I'm looking foreward to what you have to say on the matter. In fact, quote Nubian Gold as to the orgins of time, space, and matter, if that would be more enlightening to Hebrew Bible believers like mtself.

Your last sentence in your comment indicates that you are not an "ATHEIST". So let's have it, name your god that you worship and we'll compare that god to the God of Israel. Fair enough? Is the author of Nubian Gold that you "idealize" so much an ATHEIST?

For the matter of reasoning which really doesn't give spiritual insight, prophecy is connected to "time" of which itself is a creation from a creator. A prophecy is a tool by which God shows His glory to His creatures of time.
For example, when I read the ancient text, "And he shall set up an ensign for the nations, and shall assemble the outcasts of Israel, and gather together the dispersed of Judah from the four corners of the earth" and see a modern Israel that indeed hosts Jews from every nation on earth, I stand in awe. However, you can only see as you put it "The Jews an accident of history".

Again, the Jews are in the same land, speaking the same language, using the same alphebet, and most importantly, worshiping the same "one" God as their ancient ancestors did. All of this after being the most persecuted(Holocaust-burdened) people on the planet.
I'm sorry, but I don't see how the Spanish speaking / Christian Basque people in anyway shape or form can compare.

Joe, nine days to come up with the same crap? I am not going to waste Tarchon's zingers here but Amun, Re, Amun-Re was/were worshipped for over three millennia so should I be impressed by the Hebrew Bible's longevity? And YHWH's covenant in the Old Testament was "renegotiated" in the New Testament (did Jeremiah (Jer. 31:31, 33:25) open a can of worms?). The Jews in Palestine after two thousand years? There was a Hasmonean Kingdom too which lasted less than 150 years so the verdict on the current Jewish entity is here today gone tomorrow. The Hebrew Bible as a Land Title. LOL! As per the big bang it is only the most recent theory. Science is the "accumulation" of knowledge and there is much more to come. Are you sure there was "only one" big bang? Can a big bang occur in the midst of another big bang expansion? And the Basques speak well, Euskara. So long. This blog is a waste of my time but feel free to post your ramblings.

To Andre (The Etruscan):
If I read my post history right, you waited from August 22nd. to September 29 to respond to one of my post, so what's the problem with nine days? Believe it or not, I do have a life outside of blogsville consisting of vacations (approximately a nine day one) and a list of honey-do's.

You wrote: Amun-Re was worshiped for over three millennia so should I be impressed by the Hebrew Bible's longevity?
My Answer: Why yes. Especially since the worship of Re remained local to the region and was totally replaced by the God of a foreign land (Israel) that just so happened to be worshiped in all areas of the entire globe!
"...for the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the LORD" - Isaiah 11:9

Jeremiah 31:31 / 33:25 was only renegotiated by new faiths (Christianity and Islam)that maintained that the Hebrew scriptures are true and that their God was the same. However, the uniqueness of Judaism still remains the same as I point out on this very blog (The Hebrew Bible and Israel's End-Time Prophecy) that you have posted your comments on.

You wrote:" The Jews in Palestine after two thousand years? There was a Hasmonean Kingdom too which lasted less than 150 years so the verdict on the current Jewish entity is here today gone tomorrow.
My answer: That's your antisemitic / atheist desire and not reality. This obvious desire on your part spiritually ties you to the murderous Palestinians within the region who desires the same fate of the Jews that you do!
The fact is, Jews returning to their ancient homeland after a two thousand year diaspora right after an annihilation-sought Holocaust is a vindication that Israel will remain forever as the Hebrew scriptures indicate:
" Thus saith the LORD, which giveth the sun for a light by day, and the ordinances of the moon and of the stars for a light by night, which divideth the sea when the waves thereof roar; The LORD of hosts is his name: If those ordinances depart from before me, saith the LORD, then the seed of Israel also shall cease from being a nation before me for ever." - Jeremiah 31:35,36.

Despite your LOL, the Hebrew Bible is indeed as you called it, a "Land Title" for the Jewish people of which I can't think of a better ancient piece of evidence as to their right to the land over any other people, can you? In fact,if you stop and think about it, the Quartet (USA, Russia, the United Nations, and the European Union) representing all the world powers, was created because of this very Hebrew Bible "Land Title" LOL now?
Just think Amun-Re never got that much attention, so why does the God of Jewish people who represent 0.04% of the world's population get global attention? I can just see the God of Israel getting the last LOL, LOL!

The Big Bang proves "the creation" of time, space, and matter, but regardless of how many Big Bangs or universes that untested theories claim, your very existence is a testimony of a creator. That's bottom-line by the way! You can't through Tarchon or anyone else "learn" your way out of this closed for all eternity fact!
The more "accumulated knowledge" (as you put it) that science comes up with shows a deeper knowledge of a creator. Else, where did the existence of such unknown knowledge come from? Who / what holds the present undiscovered knowledge that we will discover tomorrow?
"Who hath wrought and done it, calling the generations from the beginning? I the LORD, the first, and with the last; I am he." - Isaiah 41:4
" For thus saith the high and lofty One that inhabits eternity, whose name is Holy.."- Isaiah 57:15

The reason this blog has been a waste of your time is because you refuse to learn anything unless it comes through Tarchon. If my postings are just ramblings then consider yourself unable to answer such ramblings, for of such questions and facts that I have placed before you have been incomplete in your response.
"The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God." - Psalms 14:1
"The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge: but fools despise wisdom and instruction." - Proverbs 1:7

I really don't mean to be hard or sarcastic, but you really need to face the facts. One hundred years from now your argument will all be for nothing whether you would be right or wrong. If forever-death is the ultimate human reality then it doesn't matter what we believe be it Tarchon or the Bible. However, on the other hand, one hundred years from now my argument will still be of hope, not only for that present future but for the very purpose of life itself, including life of the past.

Now here is my call to you. As the Hebrew saying goes concerning the Torah, "Etz Chayim hee" meaning, "it is the Tree of Life" (as to all who grab unto it) it would your worth while to lay aside Tarchon who offers absolutely no life in this world or the next and just see what the Bible does say to you not on a intellectual level but on a spiritual level. It is only through the spiritual level that one can be connected with the one who does indeed holds all time space and matter, and carries every knowledge that man will ever know.

Wish you the Best,
- Joe Whitehead

To Archie's post February 19,2010

I normally remove post that just want to promote a web-site without making a personal comment concerning the blog or another subject. Obviously you get something out of trying to use other people's blog-sites as a way to promote other non-applying web-sites - which is really an unethical thing to do as a presumed non-offending Christian if you would take the time and think about it before you post and run!

Since you've used my blog-site for your promotions, I'm going to comment on the site you've promoted that you're not going to like.

The site shows just how religiously-insane Christian America has become.
A couple of long-hair hippies right out of the early 1970's claiming prophesies from God and a revival for America!

Let me give you a hint: a prophesied American religious-revival is long gone! To supposedly prophesy that America will be blessed with a spiritual revival while she turns her back on Israel can only be coming from a "Lying Spirit" - the kind that caused four hundred "prophets" to lied and convinced Ahab to do battle with the King of Syria over Ramoth-Gilead (see I Kings chapter 22)!

For God to bless America, He would have to go against His very own word:
"How goodly are thy tents, O Jacob, and thy tabernacles, O Israel...Blessed is he that blesseth thee, and cursed is he that curseth thee. -Numbers 24:5,9

The American World Church through its worldly-assimilation, (example: obtaining worldly hippies as its spiritual-leaders) America has elected a "Hussein" into the White House that will end up cursing the nation of Israel and in the process will cause America to totally collapse as did Rome for the same spiritual reasons!

To know this doesn't take someone "trying" to prophesy, just some spiritual commonsense while reading the Bible and its principles.

If you wish to post again, please drop the promotions and post something relevant.
Thanks.

All I have to say to Joe Whitehead in response to anonymous and Andre. BRAVO!!!!

There was a time when I did focus more on the new testment then the old, because I did believe it was not concerning my spiritual walk. But I have to tell you by reading as much as I can and joining a Messiac fellowship group, I better understand who I am and what I am here for because of the old testment.

I happened upon your blog while I was searching for the answer to a question. I read the the comments and responses between yourself Joe Whitehead and anonymous and Andre. All I have to say is BRAVO!!!!

There was a time when I did focus more on the new testment then the old, because I did believe it was not concerning my (as a Christian)spiritual walk. But I have to tell you, by reading as much as I can and joining a Messiac fellowship group, I better understand who I am and what I am here for because of the old testment. Thanks be to YHWH. :)

Thanks Claudette,
I believe the TaNaCH (I don't like calling it the "Old Testament") is complete within and of itself.
I do believe that the Gentile methods of connecting of the G-d of Israel (via Christianity and perhaps some minute sections of Islam)has a very important role in the Gentile world.
However, the original Name and method of worship has remained the same all along.

I like to say it this way:
To a Gentile living outside the Land of Israel (the Land of the Covenant) the Name of God to him /her may very well be "Jesus Christ". However, to the Jew of the People of the Covenant, living within the Land of the Covenant,no other Name can be more original and can be no more the same as it always has been!

This is also why Christianity had its spiritual headquarters in Rome, and Islam is Mecca - they are Gentile belief systems outside the domain of the original "YHVH".

I agree with some of what you have written, but not all. Jesus is/was foretold by the Hebrew Prophets and fits all that was written about Him. Isaiah 53, and so many others! He is a light unto the Gentiles and He has NOT forsaken His people Israel and NEVER will! He is returning to establish His throne in the new Jerusalem coming down from Heaven where Jerusalem is right now! There is a blindness He has put on His people till the time of the Gentiles is over, and that is just about over! Rome is NOT the city of God and NEVER has been! It is the city of the False Prophet!! Who will go in with the Anti-Christ! Jesus said that many will come in His name and say He did that or whatever in His name and He will say "Get away from me! I never knew you"! So when so-called Christians preach Pope, Vatican, Rome and are in with the Muslims, it is all just part of the tricky, evil lies of Satan against God's very elect! We Christians are COMMANDED to pray for Jerusalem and help the Jewish people! That is Biblical! So if a so-called Christian is saying and doing the opposite, or a so-called Jew is also, then they are NOT what they say they are!! They work for Satan aka NWO/Anti-Christ/Messiah! When Christians try to do away with the 10 Commandments of God that is wrong! How come it says in Revelation "Those in Heaven who KEPT the 10 Commandments and the testimony of Jesus/ aka Messiah" then?! Read it yourselves! That is the problem, so many Christians don't read their Bibles or Jews either, but just go by whatever a Preacher/Priest or Rabbi says. "Read to show yourselves approved"! A Jewish riddle for you Proverbs 30:4. The 12 Apostles were JEWISH NOT ROMAN. God bless Israel and come soon Lord Jesus/Messiah and establish your kingdom on Earth of Holiness, Justice,Love, Righteousness, and Power forevermore from Israel/Jerusalem!!!

That is most German Jews were not inspired by the political Zionism of Theodor Herzl that urged Jews to leave their homes and relocate in Palestine. While German Jews rejected the political element of Zionism, many were open to its spiritual and cultural aspects. This is no miracle its a war between the true sons of God and the Father of lies and his children. 911 had dancing Israelis and explosives were found. Levinson said they pulled the buildings WTC7 he knew of the asbestos in the buildings before the miraculous crime took place and he was rewarded for his temerity. Zionisim is not of God. Neo cons are a conservative political group run by Zionist warmongers. When we take the fact that Jewish monies finance the Scofield Bible we shall see that the Zionist like the serpent pushed the Zionist agenda that began way before any holocaust took place. No warmonger can tell me he is chosen to bring peace on earth. Viva Palestina and the gentiles are sons of God.

Mr. Whitehead
Some people recently typed online
"What is the meaning of these
Bible Verses and the Context
Isaiah 19:23-25 which says
New International Version
“23 In that day there will be a highway from Egypt to Assyria. The Assyrians will go to Egypt and the Egyptians to Assyria. The Egyptians and Assyrians will worship together. 24 In that day Israel will be the third, along with Egypt and Assyria, a blessing[a] on the earth. 25 The Lord Almighty will bless them, saying, “Blessed be Egypt my people, Assyria my handiwork, and Israel my inheritance.” Assyria refers to Iraq , correct ?" Another person typed in response

"Isaiah 19 I think prophetic prediction that says Islam will be wiped out in Iraq and Egypt. G-d is gonna kick Egypt’s butt and then Egypt will turn to the lord either as Christians or basic Noahides. So will Iraq. Israel’s true boundaries are the nile river (eastern Egypt)and the Euphraties river (Western Iraq)

There’s gonna be peace, the arabs and persians are gonna get along well with Israel and the jews for the time being.

Either that or Islam will become docile and the Jews will become self hating again and let them in even build a freeway like that stupid freeway we are trying to build in the USA to funnel Mexicans in and Deliever canadian oil to China Via Galveston.

For the time being they take it seriously and G-d blesses them. So for the time being there will be peace between Egypt and Iraq, the Arabs will fear G-d.

That wont last long especially if their still Catholic or Muslim."
What is your opinion, Interpretation Mr. Whitehead ?
